The New Moon particularizes one era’s closing and as new understanding evolves. The Capricorn New Moon epitomizes the renewal of order that has purpose. Capricorn as a yin sign, is yielding to circumstances, although firm in vision, as the players take their assigned positions of the stage of life. Summary of major and minor aspects of the week

Wednesday December 25th — The Moon in Scorpio creates a balance point for the opposition aspect of Mars retro in Leo to Pluto/Ceres conjunction aspect in Aquarius. Mars in Leo, disposed of by the Sun now in Capricorn, aims to please. So, balanced with the universality of Aquarius Pluto/Ceres conjunction, the emotional acceptance of transformation is inherent in this T-square configuration, although displeasure is the negative side of the Scorpio Moon. This T-square, with the Moon,is a temporary configuration. A second T-square configuration that is separate from the first is longer lasting, that of Mercury in Sagittarius doubly approaching opposition aspect to Jupiter retro in Gemini, and doubly approaching square aspect to Saturn in PiscesMercury brings the Saturn/Jupiter doubly separating square aspect into sharper focus, as adaptations to social order face conflicts. Conversations of depth will inevitably conflict in the sense of compassionate relief with an enhanced certainty for gainful change.

Thursday December 26th — The Moon in Scorpio makes a trine aspect to Saturn in Pisces with increased benefits for the disadvantaged segments of the population, as Mercury opposition aspect to Jupiter retro reaches culmination. Adaptations are made with a philosophical view for future security measures. Political maneuvers seem to benefit the status-quo. However, Venus in Aquarius makes a doubly approaching square aspect to Uranus retro in Taurus, as the two planets are also in mutual reception, thus serving one another to make a profound impact on financial and/or moral grounds. The suspicious  Moon in Scorpio uncovers hidden motivations of opponents.

Friday December 27th — The passionate Moon in Scorpio reached the opposition aspect to Uranus retro in Taurus overnight (US time zones), morning hours for the eastern hemisphere, for an impassioned address to a declining adversary, perhaps a rejection of compromised agreements. A trine aspect from the Moon to Neptune in compassionate Pisces indicates that the anticipated partial release of hostage and prisoner exchange moves forward. The Moon ingress Sagittarius 19:47 UTC; 14:47 EST; 21:47 EET, and makes a sextile aspect to Pluto in Aquarius and trine aspect to Mars retro in Leo, facilitating ease of implementation of agreements.

Saturday December 28th — The Moon in Sagittarius makes a sextile aspect to Ceres in Aquarius before dawn US time zones, an opposition aspect to Jupiter retro in Gemini after dawn followed by a square aspect to Saturn in Pisces and a conjunction aspect to Mercury, also in Sagittarius. Mercury and Jupiter are in mutual reception, as the Moon, combining with the planets in opposition, activates the conflicting and interrelated issues that are fomenting, particularly around the adaptation of new social norms. The Moon transits to a trine aspect with Chiron retro in Aries, as Chiron reaches its station, turning direct on Sunday, as the wounded emerge to confront the captors.

Sunday December 29th — The Moon in Sagittarius makes a quincunx aspect to Uranus retro in Taurus, as questions arise concerning our general health and welfare. More radical findings of analysis could be published, reversing previous studies. The Moon transits to the sextile aspect with Venus in Aquarius, for scientific analytic results. The Moon is then square aspect to Neptune in Pisces, as conflicts arise concerning human welfare. Mars retro in Leo is slowly doubly approaching opposition aspect to Pluto in Aquarius. Goal direction for creative ventures may be threatened. The Sun in Capricorn is sesquiquadrate aspect to Uranus retro in Taurus, as radical methods may be applied in critical situations.

Monday December 30th — The Moon ingress to Capricorn 04:38 GMT; 00:38 EST; 06:38 EET, as the Mars retro opposition aspect to Pluto strengthens. Personal goals to profit from a renewed social stigma may be blocked. Advancements declined. Mercury sesquiquadrate aspect to Mars offers some theoretical compensation.  Mercury trine aspect to Chiron in Aries gains from the insight from the wounded. Saturn in Pisces semi-square aspect to Pluto in Aquarius and square aspect to Jupiter retro particularizes the lack of boundaries for universal acceptance. The Sun in Capricorn is semi-square aspect to Venus in Aquarius makes a plea for acceptance of the scientific standards. As the Moon approaches the conjunction aspect with the Sun, now in a prophetic seed moment, submits to the advanced soli-lunar cycle of time, a new administrative order emerges. The New Moon in Capricorn at 22:28 UTC; 17:28 EST; 00:28 EET on Tuesday [see image.]

Tuesday December 31st — The Moon in Capricorn makes a quincunx aspect to Jupiter retro in Gemini before dawn today, US time zones, and a sextile aspect to Saturn in Pisces. Implementing justification for limitations, as Jupiter square aspect to Saturn relinquishes demands, but saves face in rhetoric. Mercury in Sagittarius trine aspect to Chiron, the wounded healer, while the Moon makes a square aspect to Chiron. As the wounds are exposed, the healing is difficult. Mars retro in Leo opposition aspect to Pluto strengthens to just one degree of separation, as a drama unfolds that evokes the promise of a more just future.
