Overview

Pluto, the lynchpin, returns to direct transit on Thursday, as the over-wielding super-structure begins to crumble. Pluto is separating trine aspect to Uranus and separating sextile aspect to Neptune . A complex arrangement of planets and configurations populates the week. The Moon transits from Virgo through Libra and Scorpio, forming a Grand-trine configuration in air signs on Sunday, and a Grand-trine configuration in Water signs beginning on Tuesday.

Thursday, October 16^th

The Moon ingress Virgo 14:07 EDT; 18:07 UTC; 21:07 EEDT with a quincunx aspect to Neptune in Aries, quincunx aspect to Pluto in Aquarius making a Yod formation, as the ongoing forces beyond personal control get activated by personal responses (the Moon) to the ongoing superstructure. This is the time to put in meditation and prayer to influence a positive change. The Sun in Libra opposition aspect to Chiron in Aries with Jupiter in Cancer at the focal point. Venus in Libra separating trine aspects to Uranus in Gemini and to Pluto turning direct transit, as fading Grand-trine configuration in air signs signals ease of influence. An approaching conjunction aspect of Mercury and Mars in Scorpio, sesquiquadrate aspect to Neptune indicates off-beat attempts to penetrate dis-information, as the tight grip of the Minor Grand-trine configuration starts to unravel. The Moon quincunx aspect to Ceres could indicate technical problems pertaining to the release of deceased hostages.

Friday, October 17^th

The Moon in Virgo sesquiquadrate aspect to Chiron , Sun in Libra partile opposition aspect to Chiron , and Jupiter in Cancer partile square aspect to Chiron , indicate a complex exchange that will generate future relationships. Chiron ,  at the focal point of the T-square configuration, becomes a signal for activation of wisdom from a wounded healer, as guidance takes form. Jupiter is not at its best placement in Cancer, however, it indicates expansion of home and hearth, as well as a healing energy. The Moon is semi-square aspect to the Sun, providing added impetus for action. Mercury and Mars in Scorpio are disposed of by Pluto in Aquarius. The agreed upon steps for a final peace agreement could begin to take place. Infrastructure repair as well as humanitarian supplies are delivered to the suffering people of Gaza. Venus in Libra is opposition aspect to the midpoint of Neptune and Ceres in Aries. The release of captives and greater freedom of movement is a positive result. Venus in Libra, sensitive to imbalance, pulls on the Neptune/Ceres pair, while oblivious of the suffering indicated and inflicting greater pain, would be a negative outcome of this aspect. Both positive and negative outcomes could be generated at once.

Saturday, October 18^th

The Moon conjunction aspect to Ketu in Virgo, 00:30 EDT; 04:30 UTC; 07:30 EEDT sextile aspect to Mercury and Mars in Scorpio. The first planned phase of reconstruction must eliminate the old broken structures that are beyond repair. The Moon in Virgo in an opposition aspect to Saturn in Pisces indicates a deep assessment of needs helps to formulate a plan of action. The Sun in Libra separating opposition aspect to Chiron in Aries, denotes an opportunity to formulate the lessons learned, drawing on the inner wisdom generated from past wounds. Jupiter in Cancer at the focal point of the T-square formed, square aspect to both the Sun and Chiron.  An integration takes place. Jupiter expands the possibilities with application to the home environment. Jupiter at this sensitive point, forming a T-square configuration, could represent a teacher and healer. A third opposition aspect today is Venus in Libra approaching opposition aspect to Ceres in Aries. Venus holds great strength in Libra, one of the signs she rules. Here Venus is concerned with justice, fairness, and equality. In an opposition aspect to Ceres, litigation may be initiated concerning the treatment of civilians in time of war.

Sunday, October 19^th

The Moon ingress Libra at 00:03 EDT; 04:03 UTC; 07:03 EEDT and a Grand-trine configuration with Pluto and Uranus, all in air signs, easing a path for further negotiations.  The Moon makes an opposition aspect to Ceres and a conjunction aspect with Venus, as health monitors are needed. Mercury and Mars form a planetary pair in Scorpio with a partile conjunction aspect as close communications aim to transform the conflict. There may be shared secrets. The Sun in Libra separating square aspect to Jupiter in Cancer, and doubly separating opposition aspect to Chiron in Aries, as well as a quincunx aspect to Saturn in Pisces, initiates responsibility by understanding the past and working toward a shared future.

Monday, October 20^th

The Sun in Libra is doubly separating quincunx aspect to Saturn in Pisces, doubly approaching quincunx aspect to Neptune in Aries. All retrograde planets are now closely aligned, inclusively from Pisces to Gemini. It is a time for personal renewal. Mercury supersedes Mars in a conjunction aspect in Scorpio. The Moon in Libra makes an opposition aspect to Chiron in Aries, midday US time zones, morning hours on Tuesday for UK, EU, and ME.  In this Balsamic Moon phase, we prepare for the new cycle that will begin on Tuesday. It is a time of prophetic visions. The Moon and Chiron are square aspect Jupiter in Cancer with the formation of a T-square configuration. Jupiter is trine aspect to Saturn in Pisces, as necessary health reforms are possible.

Tuesday, October 21^st

The New Moon in Libra at 08:26 EDT; 12:26 UTC; 15:26 EEDT and the Moon ingress Scorpio 11:43 EDT; 15:43 UTC; 18:43 EEDT. At the ingress, Mars and Mercury remain in a close conjunction aspect in Scorpio. Also, the Moon is quincunx aspect to Uranus in Gemini and quincunx aspect to Neptune in Aries forming a magical Yod configuration. The Moon’s square aspect to Pluto in Aquarius, the dispositor of Uranus follows closely, as taxman takes much of the gain. Working for the common good is admirable. The expectation of personal wealth fails in the end. There is always another step to be taken, another adversary, and another one greater, richer and more famous. Mercury doubly approaching trine aspect to Saturn in Pisces and approaching trine aspect to Jupiter in Cancer, with a Grand-trine configuration in water signs slowly forms and is effective over the next few days. Water signs are indications of transformation, the process of emotional growth. Each sign is a step toward personal individuation when the lessons learned are internalized.
