A Lunar Eclipse Empowers Transformation
Overview
Transiting Moon from Capricorn to the conjunction aspect with Pluto retro in Aquarius initiates a process to modify the basic structure we are all subjected to with the minor grand-trine configuration of the outermost planets. A total spectacular lunar eclipse on Sunday, in conjunction with the lunar nodes closely followed by Uranus turned retrograde, highlights the unexpected impact of the week’s activities. Reversals of long-held policies may, by early next week, bring relief, as a transformation is initiated.
Summary of major and minor aspects of the week

Wednesday September 3rd — The Moon in Capricorn, the sign ruled by Saturn, structures emotions in opposition aspect to Jupiter in Cancer today [see chart above]. Jupiter is disposed of by the Moon, as emotions are channeled into more constructive pathways. Mars in Libra makes a square aspect to Jupiter and to the Moon for a T-square configuration, indicates a goal to harness the content and to rise above the current. The Sun in Virgo honors the working man/woman while the sesquiquadrate aspect to Chiron retro in Aries, draws power from painful experiences. Mercury in Virgo, the working person’s voice, is quincunx aspect to Pluto retro in Aquarius for a universal echo, quincunx aspect to Neptune retro in Aries, an unconscious wish, together create a Yod formation. Uranus in Gemini sextile aspect to Neptune indicates perception into the unconscious while the unconscious may also influence perception. Saturn retro in Pisces undermines the illusions of power, with Uranus stationery, preparing to reverse (apparent) direction, in a partile trine aspect to Moon/Pluto retro, the months’ long configuration tightens as it is reaching a climatic moment, and will then begin to disperse. The Moon transits to quincunx aspect with Mercury in Virgo, igniting a cascade of critical speech.
Friday September 5th — Jupiter in Cancer transits to the midpoint of the US natal Sun and Mercury in Cancer. Jupiter is the ruler of the US ascendant at 13° Sagittarius, one of the planets in the stellium configuration. Mars in Libra forming a square to transiting Jupiter signals upcoming legal matters that could affect U.S. immigration and Constitutional law over the next few months. Venus in Leo is opposition aspect to transiting Moon in Aquarius, and quincunx aspect to the Sun in Virgo, Venus in a semi-sextile aspect to the Sun, trine aspect to natal US ascendent (Sibley chart). Creative voices speak for the intent of the national founding. The Moon sextile aspect to Ceres in Aries indicates speaking for the powerless, the indigent and captives, yearning to be free. The Moon progresses to the trine aspect to Mars, and quincunx aspect to Jupiter, as radical changes to status of immigrants are proposed. Transiting Venus is doubly applying to the trine aspect to Ceres retro in Aries, as proposals to reverse status or release captives gain force.

Sunday September 7th — The Full Moon in Pisces mirrors the Sun but, in an eclipse, the shadow of the earth darkens the Moon momentarily. This eclipse is forecast to last an extended time, as a Blood Moon, when the earth is in perfect alignment with the eclipse. Although this phenomenon will be visible in Australia and Asia, it cannot be visible in the US or South America. Yet, it is an important astrological event, a time to reassess goals that you hope to achieve. The time of the eclipse, depending on your location, 18:10 UTC; 14:10 EDT; 22:10 EEDT. The Full Moon is often a realization of your goals that were set during the previous New Moon (August 23rd). With the Moon in Pisces, while you feel at one with your surroundings, you should also recognize boundaries. This may be a re-envisioning and adjusting outcomes that are more realistic. Although in an out-of-sign conjunction aspect with Saturn and Saturn disposed of by Neptune, Neptune disposed of by Mars in Libra indicates a need for balance, at least after experiencing imbalance. Mars, indicating an inappropriate gesture, may be due for feedback. Mars separating square aspect to Jupiter in Gemini, and disposed of by Venus in Leo, as a gracious gesture is then the appropriate step. The Sun in Virgo is sesquiquadrate aspect to Pluto retro in Aquarius. Remedial actions may help adjust the harsher instances of the policies implemented. Uranus retro continues the partile trine aspect to Pluto retro and partile sextile aspect to Neptune retro, further implementing the harsh measures that focus on immigrants.
