On January 1^st Mars is retrograde in Leo, partile opposition aspect to Pluto and the Moon conjunction aspect in Aquarius for a  powerful and potentially explosive aspect, modified by the Moon, as preparedness is the key to a rescue in the face of disasters. Occurring on a day of celebrations and crowd gathering events, is an ominous synchronicity, indicating a worldwide event of pyrotechnic displays, in the most optimistic form, and a unifying principle for humanity. Summary of major and minor aspects of the week

Wednesday January 1^st — The Moon ingress Aquarius 10:51 UTC; 05:50 EST; 12:51 EET,[see chart insert] while the last lunar major aspect, sextile to Neptune in Pisces is at 06:03 UTC; 01:03 EST; 08:03 EET. So there is a void-of-course Moon from the sextile aspect to Neptune until the ingress to Aquarius.    During the void-of-course Moon, actions taken are unlikely to succeed as desired. Soon after the ingress to Aquarius, the Moon makes a conjunction aspect with Pluto, effective even at the ingress, at the second degree of Aquarius.  As Mars retro in Leo is in a close opposition aspect to Pluto/Moon conjunction, disposed of by Uranus in Taurus, unsettling events are likely today, also with a profound aggressive action to initiate a transformation in terms of health and economy. A probable overturned government, or other radical moves may be initiated in a worldwide view of actions. The South Korean government is unstable, as well as regimes in the ME. Venus in Aquarius is semi-sextile aspect to Neptune and semi-sextile aspect to Pluto/Moon conjunction for possible resolution efforts in mediation. In the US, travel may be difficult, weather and accidental disasters bring dangers, activating emergency services. Traffic congestion cause delays in arriving at the desired destination. Mercury in Sagittarius is separating trine aspect from Chiron in Aries indicates rapid communication to emergency workers. The Sun in Capricorn disposed of by Saturn in Pisces is doubly approaching a quincunx aspect to Jupiter retro in Gemini indicating complications in bureaucratic processing. Jupiter retro is doubly separating from the square aspect to Saturn signaling an abundant of cases to process. The Moon makes a conjunction aspect with Ceres late evening US time zones, and Venus in mutual reception with Uranus retro in Taurus indicates rescue of youth in disaster zones.

Thursday January 2^nd — The Moon in Aquarius transits the conjunction aspect to Ceres early morning in the ME, followed by the trine aspect to Jupiter retro in Gemini as the completion of successful events evokes calm. The Sun in Capricorn doubly approaching quincunx aspect to Jupiter retro suggests an aggrandizement of power that is not fully earned. Mercury in Sagittarius is quincunx aspect to Uranus retro in Taurus, and in mutual reception to Jupiter, as social media undermines reputations. Venus in mutual reception with Uranus retro soon to ingress to Pisces will then be disposed by Neptune a final dispositor, in its own sign of Pisces. Mars retro in Leo partile  opposition aspect to Pluto in Aquarius, undermines the collective power with revolutionary fervor, with a goal for self-advancement. Venus ingress Pisces 05:30 EET (Friday) ; 03:30 UTC (Friday); 22:30 EST, then disposed of by Neptune, will be quincunx aspect to Mars retro in Leo, with the minor aspect semi-sextile to Pluto. Venus is compatible with Pisces, gaining in empathy for the suffering of the underprivileged.

Friday January 3^rd — Although Mars retro in Leo has superseded the exact opposition aspect to Pluto in Aquarius, it is so close that it can still be a partile aspect in strength. Mars retrograde is a backward pull on the progress that Pluto in Aquarius indicates. So there is a counter pull to the humanitarian principles that Aquarius represents, by a more dramatic Leo with the love of goal-oriented (Mars) power. The Moon in Aquarius ingress to Pisces 15:22 UTC; 10:22 EST; 12:22 EET and a conjunction aspect with Venus in Pisces. The receptive ear is strongly activated by the Moon and Venus in Pisces, and promotes universal empathy. The Sun in Capricorn supersedes the quincunx aspect to Jupiter retro in Gemini and approaches the sextile aspect to Saturn in Pisces, the dispositor of the Sun. While the Sun is the dispositor of Mars, limitations are put in please of the hedonistic ambitions that oppose the humanitarian will of Pluto. Mercury in Sagittarius approaching quincunx aspect to Uranus retro in Taurus as the voice of philosophical reason is ineffective in reigning in a revolutionary power. The Moon quincunx aspect to Mars is softening the hard edge of Mars, but is largely ignored.

Saturday January 4^th — The Moon in Pisces square aspect to Jupiter retro in Gemini makes an emotional appeal to the expanding claims of the ascending powers. Jupiter is disposed of by Mercury the messenger in Sagittarius, and so is in mutual reception with Mercury. This tends to bend the rational to suit the purpose of the protagonist, or the author, to produce a modified version of truth. The Moon in a conjunction aspect with Saturn, the dispositor of the Sun and sextile aspect to the Sun in Capricorn. This makes a stronger appeal to the aggressive powers of Mars retro in Leo and in a sesquiquadrate aspect between the Moon/Saturn and Mars, an explicit pact could be arranged.

Sunday January 5^th — The Moon in Pisces is sextile aspect to the Sun in Capricorn, making a conjunction aspect to Neptune, undergoing a conversion or a distortion of realism, that has an impact on conscious awareness, seeming to accept and alternative view. Creative inspiration could be another outcome of this aspect. The Moon ingress Aries 19:02 UTC; 14:02 EST; 21:02 EET with a trine aspect to Mars retro in Leo and sextile aspect to Pluto in Aquarius, flowing with the creative vison of the goals proposed, while also understanding some of the group consciousness of Pluto. Mercury in Sagittarius square aspect to Neptune/Moon conjunction represents a critical analysis that views the proposals as unworkable.

Monday January 6^th — Mars retro ingress to Cancer in its reverse mode, weakening the opposition aspect to Pluto in Aquarius, as tensions concerning desired goals is reduced, as the thrust to the aggressive Mars is reformed to objectives at home. The Moon in Aries sextile aspect to Ceres in Aquarius and also sextile aspect to Jupiter retro in Gemini, as Ceres doubly approaching trine aspect to Jupiter retro. Enhanced communications are established, with a sign of life. Mercury in Sagittarius partile square aspect to Neptune rejects faith -based beliefs. The Moon makes a square aspect to the Sun for the 1^st quarter Moon phase [see chart insert], with a  test for the  assumptions and resolutions that were made at the seed phase of the New Moon in Capricorn on December 30^th.

Tuesday January 7^th — As Mars retro in Cancer distances from the separating opposition aspect to Pluto in Aquarius, doubly approaching a quincunx aspect to Mercury in Sagittarius, as the Moon in Aries makes a harsh square aspect to Mars retro, the dispositor of the Moon and Mars in the sign (Aries) the Moon rules, objections begin to hit home. Ceres in Aquarius doubly approaching trine aspect to Jupiter retro in Gemini seeking advantage for the underrepresented or captive civilians. The Sun in Capricorn in an approaching square aspect to Chiron in Aries demands in-depth factual depositions. The Moon square aspect to Mars retro in Cancer prior to the ingress Taurus 22:10 UTC; 17:10 EST; 00:10 EET square aspect to Pluto in Aquarius. Obsessiveness in personal care or comfort commodities develops in some, while obsessive eating is rampant.
