Overview

The total eclipse of the Sun in Aries was a celestial event that drew multitudes, a testimony to the greater awareness in humanity of the personal relationship to the cosmos. With Chiron in partile conjunction with the Sun/Moon, it was an event with great educational potential, as well as a healing experience for the communities. The Aries denouement this week concludes the Sun’s yearly sojourn in the Cardinal-fire sign. The Moon begins this week’s report in the personal sign of Taurus and transits through Gemini, Cancer, and finally into Leo. With the partile conjunction aspect to Mars/Saturn in Pisces, and the entrenched Neptune dispositor also in Pisces, the sense of abundance is coupled with the obligation to provide humanitarian assistance is persistent. The first-quarter Moon phase on Monday, April 15^th, suggests a crisis and a release. At the Full Moon in two weeks (23-24 April) with the Moon in Scorpio and the Sun in Taurus, Jupiter transcends the conjunction aspect with Uranus, and the stellium in Taurus is created by the new Moon on May 8^th. If good deeds are planted, the return will be plentiful.

Wednesday April 10^th — Mars conjunction aspect to Saturn in Pisces reaches partile today, while the Moon in Taurus transits Jupiter and Uranus for an effective triple conjunction aspect. The Moon is also sextile aspect to the Mars/Saturn conjunction aspect early in the day US time zones, afternoon hours in UK, EU, and ME. This denotes a day when major concerns become hot button issues that are activated. Challenges are brought against active protesters, against religious proponents of unilateral observances, and probably against constitutional protections. Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus are symbolic of a festering environment, volcanic disruptions, and a deteriorating relationship to personal health issues. Chiron in Aries is semi-sextile aspect to Jupiter as pleas for basic needs are made. Mars, the dispositor of the Sun, Mercury retro, Venus, and Chiron in Aries, in a separating conjunction aspect with Saturn, indicates that actions are taken for humanitarian assistance. Mercury retro in an approaching conjunction aspect to the Sun reverses decisions and/or protests authority. Ceres in Capricorn trine aspect to the Moon and Jupiter represents pleas made for the release of captives.

Thursday April 11^th — The Moon in Taurus makes a sextile aspect to Neptune in Pisces early today prior to the Moon ingress to Gemini 12:59 UT; 08:59 EDT; 15:59 EEDT. The Moon is concerned with security and nurturing, and is exalted in Taurus, demanding sustenance for the disadvantaged, even a large cultural group needing basic survival commodities. The Moon in Gemini makes a trine aspect to Pluto in Aquarius raising questions of universal importance. As Mercury retrograde is in an approaching conjunction aspect to the Sun in Aries, the Moon transits to the sextile aspect to Venus in Aries. Collaboration on issues or sustainability, of collective relief or punishment, of basic rights and limitations begin to surface. Ceres in Capricorn is square aspect to Chiron, challenging basic assumptions of truth.

Friday April 12^th — The Moon in Gemini moves past the cluster of planets in the sector of the zodiac from Capricorn to Taurus. While in Gemini, the Moon wants to experience and discuss, but within its own neighborhood.  We may want to arrive at a consensus within our community. Speaking out becomes a priority. The Moon in square aspects to Saturn and Mars in Pisces indicates ample issues to discuss are available. Writing opinions online, or in yet-to-be-published media relates to the issues of the year, the conflicts in the ME, poverty and welfare assistance are favorite issues of the day, as the Moon progresses to sextile aspect to the Sun and Mercury retro in Aries. Ceres in Capricorn is trine aspect to Jupiter in Taurus and quincunx aspect to the Moon as attention to wrongful acts focuses on immediacy.

Saturday April 13^th — The Moon in Gemini makes a square aspect to Neptune in Pisces, less harsh than a usual square aspect with the two mutable signs involved. The Moon evokes interest, while Neptune usurps power by withdrawing energy. Pluto in Aquarius is semi-square aspect to Mars in Pisces, radical isolated acts are explosive, as protests become violent. Mars is disposed of by Neptune, a final dispositor in its sign of rulership, evokes radical power notoriously. The Moon ingress to Cancer 17:46 UTC; 13:46 EDT; 20:46 EEDT.  Personal issues around home and family occupy attention. The Moon in a quincunx aspect to Pluto in Aquarius could be a force that in the background, a force of universal and humanitarian concerns. Sunday April 14^th — The Moon in Cancer makes a square aspect to Venus in Aries, inclining to a polite rejection of support.  Later in the day, the Moon trine aspect to Saturn and Mars in Pisces leans toward help for the suffering and distraught among the world’s suffering communities more likely to be of a personal connection or cause of special interest. The Moon is also in an opposition aspect to Ceres in Capricorn, indicating difficulty in relating to environmental issues. The Moon sextile aspect to Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus as the planetary pair draws closer in the conjunction aspect overnight, US time zones, Monday morning hours in UK, EU, and the ME, transforming a worldview for many.

Monday April 15^th — Mercury retro in Aries and in a conjunction aspect to Chiron in Aries evokes our innermost thoughts. Ceres in Capricorn is square aspect to the Chiron/Mercury pair, there is a rejection of consensus concerning the conditions of the evacuees and displace or those held hostage. It should be recognized that normal life is not in captivity.  The Moon in a square aspect to the Sun indicates a crisis in development of this lunar cycle, the first-quarter Moon phase 19:14 UTC; 15:14 EDT; 22:14 EEDT (see chart insert). Ceres in Capricorn is at this crisis sextile aspect to Mars in Pisces and trine aspect to Jupiter/Uranus in Taurus. Mars is in an approaching sextile aspect to Jupiter/Uranus. Mars is semi–square aspect to Pluto in Aquarius at a moment of universal activation for transformation of power, or a possible redemption for abducted prisoners of war. Tuesday April 16^th — The Moon in Leo makes an opposition aspect to Pluto in Aquarius overnight, US time zones, early morning in UK, EU, and ME zones. Personal transformations are achieved, a possible release through universal humanitarian efforts.  Mars in Pisces reaches the partile sextile aspect to Ceres in Capricorn, as the structure of the sextile aspect to Jupiter/Uranus conjunction aspect in Taurus with Ceres trine aspect to the pair continues in effect.  Ceres is partile square aspect to Mercury retro and Chiron in Aries, as harsh conditions of the hostages in captivity are revealed. The Moon makes sesquiquadrate aspect to Saturn and Mars in Pisces as emotional release transforms. The Sun in Aries is semi-sextile aspect to Neptune in Pisces, with a bitter-sweet reunion.
