Resolving Political (and personal) Issues
Overview
An amazing week of celestial synchronicity, as Merc retro and the Sun align to oppose Jupiter retro, and Venus, Ceres, and the Moon transit Pluto in Aquarius. Triggered events rarely occur at the exact partile aspects, and several indications must concur when analyzing for a significant event. It is interesting to view the chart for the Sun/Mercury retro partile conjunction in Sagittarius. Other very significant astrological aspects are concurring at this juncture, some are close aspects, although not partile. Significant events often generate spin-off events, so that other aspects may be forming at the same time, but become partile a little later, or events that precede may lead up to the major shift in consciousness that occurs with an aspect that is more general, as in a ripple effect. Sun/Mercury aspects occur frequently throughout the year, although the conjunction with Mercury retro is less frequent. The conjunction in the sign of Sagittarius specifically signals a political or philosophical field for the events.

Summary of major and minor aspects of the week
Wednesday December 4th — This could be the day you get the answers you’ve been looking for. Mercury in Sagittarius opposition aspect to Jupiter in Gemini (both retrograde), Sun in Sagittarius square aspect to Saturn in Pisces, and the Moon in Capricorn conjunction aspect to Venus, Ceres and Pluto in Aquarius. Moon ingress Aquarius 04:22 UTC (Thursday); 23:22 EST; 06:22 EET (Thursday), conjunction aspect to Pluto. We may see hostages released and other “stuck” situations begin to resolve, as the Sun transcends the square aspect to Saturn. Venus in Capricorn sextile aspect to Neptune retro in Pisces, with possible reunions underway. Semi-square aspects between Venus and Ceres in Capricorn and Saturn in Pisces and Venus and Ceres semi-square aspects to the Sun in Sagittarius push the legal issues into sync.
Thursday December 5th — The Moon in Aquarius makes an opposition aspect to Mars in Leo in the morning hours US time zones, afternoon in UK, EU, and ME, indicating successful outcomes, and reunions. Venus in Capricorn transcends the sextile aspect to Neptune retro in Pisces and approaching conjunction aspect to Ceres, at 29th degree Capricorn. The Sun doubly approaching Mercury retro in Sagittarius reaches partile, doubly approaching the opposition aspect to Jupiter retro in Gemini. Mars in Leo slows to stationary and will turn retrograde as the Moon in Aquarius makes the opposition aspect with Mars, so some advancing goals are met with objections.
Friday December 6th — Venus and Ceres ingress Aquarius, Venus in partile conjunction aspect with Pluto, as transformations awaken in personal relations. The Moon in Aquarius in trine aspect to Jupiter retro in Gemini, as the Sun in Sagittarius doubly approaches the opposition aspect to Jupiter retro (retrograde Jupiter moves transits to approach the aspect degree as the Sun is also moving from the other side toward the degree of the opposition aspect). The Sun is a life giving force of consciousness, while Jupiter in Gemini enhances the conversations in partisan mode. The detached Aquarian Moon in a sextile aspect to the Sun, offers compromising initiatives in efforts to resolve the polarizing debates. Saturn in Pisces is square aspect to Mercury retro and the Sun conjunction aspect in Sagittarius, may put limits on the success of the initiatives with a view to resolve power and reverse order. The Sun semi–square aspects to Venus/Ceres, semi-square aspect to Saturn, prodding the authoritative actions of a new administration in formation. By evening, US time zones the Moon square aspect to Uranus retro in Taurus could ignite radical actions, possibly destructive in nature, such as a lone wolf attack.
Saturday December 7th — The Moon ingress Pisces 09:50 UTC; 04:50 EST; 11:50 EET, disposed of by Neptune, now stationary in Pisces, the final dispositor. A T-square configuration develops with Saturn in Pisces at the pivotal focal point, square aspect to Mercury retro in Sagittarius, and Jupiter retro in Gemini, a mutable T-square. Saturn in Pisces is like in quicksand It lacks stability yet firmly opposed to change, and so sinks deeper. Mars and Neptune are stationary, indicating a firm stance in the positions taken. Venus and Ceres ingress Aquarius, conjunction aspect to Pluto, for sugar added to the poison pill make it easier to take, as radical institutional changes are made, agreed upon by consensus, although in an environment of the impossible about to happen, maybe better to accept than object, and thus the reversals are passed.
Sunday December 8th — The Moon in Pisces makes a conjunction aspect with Saturn early today (US time zones, morning hours in UK, EU, and ME) and makes the square aspect to the Sun in Sagittarius for the 1st quarter Moon phase (15:28 UTC; 10:28 EST; 17:28 EET). Disagreements may arise, but Jupiter in Gemini, in opposition aspect to the Sun, and square aspect to Saturn, indicates that protective measures are at hand. Venus in Aquarius supersedes the conjunction aspects with Pluto and Ceres in Aquarius, while Ceres supersedes the conjunction aspect with Pluto, as diplomatic voices announce the agreements achieved.
Monday December 9th — The Moon transits the conjunction aspect with Neptune (now direct transit) in Pisces, and ingress Aries 13:39 UTC; 08:39 EST: 15:39 EET, for a more direct change of purpose, sextile aspect to Pluto, Ceres, and Venus in Aquarius, as the radical issues are accommodated, incorporated in anew agenda, another historical milestone, as the Moon makes a conjunction aspect with Rahu in Aries. The Sun in Sagittarius doubly approaches a trine aspect with Chiron retro in Aries as expediency in legislation in sought. The Moon in a trine aspect to Mars retro in Leo, the dispositor of the Moon, empowers socially sanctioned actions, as reforms are underway. Late in the day, the Moon makes trine aspect to Mars retro and Mercury retro in Sagittarius, and Mercury retro approaching trine aspect to Mars. (This aspect never reaches partile as Mercury reverses direction, turning direct on Dec 15th). This is a potential grand-trine configuration that will be fortuitous to natal charts with close aspects to these fire sign transits.
Tuesday December 10th — The Moon in progressive Aries makes a semi-sextile aspect to Saturn in Pisces and a sextile aspect to Jupiter retro in Gemini. Saturn doubly approaching square aspect to Jupiter retro. Despite objections, agreements are made. The Moon makes a conjunction aspect to Chiron retro in Aries, and trine aspect to the Sun in Sagittarius, as Chiron retro doubly approaches the trine aspect to the Sun, as final agreements to benefit the populations are official. Mercury retro approaching trine aspect with Mars in Leo indicating beneficial announcements.
