The Moon transits from Aquarius to the New Moon aspect in Taurus this week. A stellium in Aries containing Mars (ruler) as well as Mercury, Chiron, and the Moon. The Moon then transits into Taurus, from a fire sign to an earth sign, to the conjunction with Venus and then the Sun, Uranus, and Jupiter, making a full stellium. Pluto in Aquarius turns retrograde, while Mars in Aries moves bravely on to achievement of goals.

Summary of major and minor aspects of the week
Wednesday May 1st — The Moon in Aquarius is square aspect to the Sun in Taurus, as a stellium in Taurus develops in this fixed-earth sign. A crisis in the culminating cycle manifests. Venus in Taurus, the dispositor of the stellium, is square aspect to Pluto in Aquarius as disagreements over Constitutional matters peak. Chiron in Aries square aspect to Ceres in Capricorn with a narrows orb, as conventional wisdom is challenged. Goal direction is vitalized with Mars at the1st degree of Aries, sign of its rulership and therefore Mars is a final dispositor. Mars remains in Aries until June 9th. Mercury and Chiron in Aries resolve to the goal orientation that Mars sets, renewing efforts to achieve a desired outcome. The Moon in Aquarius makes a sextile aspect to Mercury and semi-sextile aspect to Saturn in Pisces. In Pisces, Saturn lacks stability, focusing on dissolution. The Moon in Aquarius influences our goal setting, as the desire now is to create an ideal future. Saturn puts limitations on a rapidly developing process, yet, in Pisces lacks a firm foundation.
Thursday May 2nd — Moon in Aquarius makes a square aspect to Uranus and Jupiter early this morning. You may wake up to a changed reality, especially in financial matters. The Moon semi–sextile to Neptune in Pisces urges a reformation. Neptune in the final degree of Pisces for another two months, then turns retro in July, without an ingress to Aries until April 2025. Pluto in Aquarius turns retrograde, returning to Capricorn in September, and ingress to Aquarius again on November 20th. A gradual evolution takes place that concerns us all. Mars in Aries doubly approaching the sextile aspect to Pluto, initiates programs to help remedy conditions that are harmful, such as environmental programs that will affect us all. Chiron approaching square aspect to Ceres indicates the urgency needed to reform government policies. The Moon ingress Pisces 18:53 UTC; 14:53 EDT; 21:53 EEDT. The Moon at the midpoint of Pluto sextile aspect to Mars 2-3 hours late, reflecting the outcome of proposals, unlikely to be popular. The Moon sextile aspect to Venus in Taurus, the dispositor of the stellium in Taurus, overnight, could work to remedy extreme views.
Friday May 3rd — The Moon in Pisces is sextile aspect to the Sun in Taurus, two Yin signs, while Mars in Aries makes a sextile aspect to Pluto stationary/retro in Aquarius, two Yang signs, setting up a competition, if not a battle, between two basic orientations, seeking to undermine the status quo. Cultural conflicts of the Middle East infect the US and western nations, now reaching a tipping point. The Moon transits to the conjunction aspect with Saturn in Pisces, as reforms are put into place. Chiron in Aries square aspect to Ceres in Capricorn continues (see notes for Thursday). The Moon makes a sextile aspect to Ceres, adding emotional impact to generational issues.
Saturday May 4th — The Moon in Pisces sextile aspect to Uranus in Taurus, morning hours in UK, EU, ME, afternoon hours in Australia, although before dawn in US time zones. A prisoner exchange could be agreed on, under threats of violence, unexpectedly. The sextile aspect to Jupiter follows, with an increase of attacks or a reunion of hostages with families. The Moon transits to the conjunction aspect with Neptune prior to the ingress to Aries at 20:42 UTC; 23:42 EEDT; 16:42 EDT. Suffering and sorrow lead to renewed actions.
Sunday May 5th — The Moon in Aries is semi-sextile aspect to Venus in Taurus early morning US time zones, afternoon in UK, EU, and points eastward. Then, the Moon makes a conjunction aspect with Rahu (the north lunar node) and semi-sextile aspect to the Sun in Taurus, in preparation for a renewal at the New Moon on Wednesday, May 8th. The seeds of the cycle to come are now planted, and visionaries may see into the future. The Moon semi-sextile aspect to Saturn in Pisces with a regressive undertow.
Monday May 6th — The Sun in Taurus makes a sextile aspect to Saturn in Pisces, in an acceptance of status. New details unfold as the Moon transits to the semi-sextile aspects with Uranus and Jupiter in Taurus. Ceres in Capricorn in a separating square aspect to Chiron in Aries, as though resurrecting a future, may reject standard wisdom. A stellium in Aries competes with a stellium in Taurus, seeking to create a new game plan, as Mars pioneers a new social order. The Moon ingress Taurus at 21:43 UTC; 18:21 EDT; 24:23 EEDT.
Tuesday May 7th — The Moon in Taurus is semi-sextile aspect to Mars in Aries early today, then transits to the conjunction aspect with Venus in Taurus, the dispositor of the Taurus stellium. The evolution is from an aggressive mode to that of accomplishment, leading into the New Moon that is 03:23 UTC on Wednesday; 23:23 EDT; 06:23 EEDT. A measure of progress toward a more equitable future for Ukraine and for Gaza and Israel (see chart insert).
