As pandemic grips the world, we may be more than ever resigned to following the advice of medical experts. Mars has superseded Pluto, a contact that indicated a universal impact. While not the end of the world, it has some of the inherent characteristics of widespread doom. It is not always in one’s own capability to prevent infection, as environment impinges on us all, while individual situations and responsibilities vary. Government, employers, parents are responsible for the lives in their domain. Astrologically, we see this as a 10th House matter, and Capricorn is naturally aligned with 10th House affairs. Saturn, as the ruler of Capricorn, represents the authority in any situation. Saturn represents limits and structure. Saturn in Capricorn is in its natural home. If the structure of an institution breaks down, the institution dissolves. Neptune has the power to dissolve. Neptune in Pisces is in its natural home, the sign of its rulership. Saturn and Neptune contradict one another. This week, Saturn transits into Aquarius, where it also has some affinity, being the recognized as a ruler of the sign before the discovery of Uranus. Saturn in Aquarius imposes limits according to a scientific rational. The restrictions of Capricorn were to keep order. Saturn in Aquarius has a goal that requires compliance to a method.
Summary of Major Aspects of the Week
Wednesday March 25th – The Sun in Aries is in a conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) with Chiron, as we implement measures of precaution. Aries is not a very cautions sign, yet Chiron, with an image of acquired knowledge and wisdom, could help to curtail the hedonistic Aries, the eagerness to experience born of springtime. It may not be the best time to fulfill the wanderlust, rather focus on virtual exploration and armchair travels. The new Moon on the 24th should be a time for Aries to reinvent him or herself. The Aries individual, a natural leader in many areas of research and founders of world organizations, must learn to adapt. Discovering a new lifestyle that incorporates the nature of individuals could be a necessary challenge for everyone in the reinvention of 2020. Neptune in Pisces is dissolving the old order, the era of world exploration and domination, that has led to the digital revolution. It is a slow process to dissolve, while Uranus the symbol of radical change, swift and lightening like in effect. Uranus in the fixed-earth sign of Taurus may be slowed down, affecting radical changes in stock-market indices, adding a layer of alarm. The world health is affected with the introduction of the novel virus with a sudden and irredeemable impact. The erosion of the underbelly of modern society seems all but complete. Pluto and Mars in Capricorn represent efforts to regenerate cultural norms. As the ruler of Aries, Mars disposes of the Sun and Moon now transiting in Aries. Mars in Capricorn calls on the social architects to rebuild a more ideal future government.

March 26, 2020
Thursday March 26th – With the Moon in Taurus and square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Saturn in Aquarius difficult issues may be resolved now. Venus in Taurus is in its own sign of rulership. That means Venus is very comfortable here, and we all should be getting good news over the next 3 days as the influence of Venus trine to Jupiter (120 deg, flowing) in earth signs, strengthens with the Moon transiting to a conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) with Venus on the 28th. All the other planets are confined to the arc of the trine aspect, as some relief is in sight. This is possibly confined to economic gains through government legislation, but this could contribute to psychological health as well. As the Moon transits to the conjunction aspect with Uranus this afternoon, the reversals in the economic trend is striking. Jupiter approaching the conjunction aspect with Pluto, combined with the trine aspect from Venus, involves the bulk of humanity in this as quite a breakthrough experience. Jupiter in Cap and a semi-square aspect (45 deg, irritant) to Mercury in Pisces increases anxiety.
Friday March 27th – The Moon in Taurus forms a sextile aspect (60 deg, working) to Mercury in Pisces as a transition is announced that affects the larger community. Jupiter closing in on the conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) with Pluto as universal compliance with recommended health precautions bring hope for progress in conquering the virus.
Saturday March 28th – The Moon in Taurus is in a conjunction aspect (0 deg combining) to Venus and trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Jupiter/Pluto conjunction in Capricorn. Government actions are showing results as the economic boost is also improving health and related issues. The Moon ingress to Gemini and trine aspect to Saturn in Aquarius as there a significant change occurs, possibly a release of restrictive measures, in individual status.
Sunday March 29th – With Jupiter in the conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) with Pluto, intemperate actions could have health consequences with the Venus in Taurus indicating self-indulgence. Cautions are advisable now as the pandemic resurges in some areas. The Moon is sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) to Chiron in Aries and semi–sextile (30 deg, quick) to Uranus in Taurus indicating that the axiom that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure should be adhered to.
Monday March 30th – The Moon in Gemini and a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Mercury and Neptune in Pisces indicates that disinformation can cause harm to health. Venus in Taurus and a trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to the midpoint of Jupiter/Pluto and Mars in Capricorn as benefits and risks of government intervention are on display. The need for balance is evident as runaway inflation could alarm economic measurements. Mars ingress to Aquarius and the conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) to Saturn.
Tuesday March 31st – The Moon ingress to Cancer early today, and in quincunx aspects (150 deg, complex) to Mars and Saturn in Aquarius as recommendations may seem contradictory, and very restrictive of personal freedom for the sake of universal health. The Moon is also in a conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) with Rahu as the fate of social distancing becomes obvious. More care with personal restrictions to increase the chance of avoidance of contagious illness is recommended as Rahu could increase the desire to break through limitations.
