Transition of Government – April 10-17 2019

While the Venus-Neptune conjunction in Pisces concludes, and relationship issues are expanded in concept, Mercury in Pisces stands at the square aspect to Jupiter stationary retro in Sagittarius also square aspect to the Moon in Gemini. The letting go of out-moded principles of social interaction is required before more enlightenment can reform the social contract. It is the individual’s attitude (Mercury) that counts. Pluto and Saturn will also become retrograde near the end of April, as they continue to interact during transit of CapricornPluto in a sextile aspect to Mercury this week awakens dormant attitudes and shifts awareness on a universal scale. The Sun in a square aspect to Saturn in Capricorn as new proposals are restricted or many are forced to accept standard principles.

Summary of Major Aspects of the Week

Wednesday April 10th – The Sun in Aries is in the exact square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Saturn in Capricorn today, cardinal signs are active and conflicting, could bring about an upset in the voting for Israel’s Prime Minister, and may reject the old and usher in a new majority party. Mercury sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Pluto the voters (Mercury) overturn the existing power (Saturn), rejecting corruption at the top (Pluto). Venus is in a conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) with Neptune, as nostalgia for greatness impacts support for nationalistic agendas everywhere. However, it is also a good time to clean house. Ceres is Sagittarius turns retrograde, retreating from the square aspects to Neptune and Venus in Pisces, and will be in an opposition aspect (180 deg, polarizing) to Mars on April 20th.  A generational battleground lies ahead.

Thursday April 11thUranus in Taurus is in a sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to the Moon in Cancer early today, as we adjust to transformative concepts. The cardinal sign Aries Sun is square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to the midpoint of Saturn and Pluto in Cap. Action can be expected here with power and control issues. The Moon in a square aspect to Chiron, could reject the inner wisdom in favor of a (relatively) revolutionary ideal. Venus in Pisces approaches a sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Saturn in Cap, while Mercury completes the sextile to Pluto in Cap. With ballots cast the new coalition building is underway. Pleasing the master is the route to achieving a portfolio to improve your resume. Jupiter retrograde turns away from the verbal (Mercury) conflict (square aspect-90 deg) with political adversaries.

First Quarter Moon
April 12, 2019

Friday April 12th – The Moon in Cancer forms an opposition aspect (180 deg, polarizing) to Saturn in Cap, and is square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to the Sun in Aries for a T-square configuration, that moves to the opposition aspect with Pluto. Power shifts back and forth, seeking stability. As negotiations continue (Jupiter square aspect to Mercury), the Jupiter trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to the Sun strengthens, to increase a centralized leadership.  The Sun approaches square aspect to Pluto in Capricorn, for historical purging of individuals comprising power centers.

Saturday April 13th –  The Moon ingress to Leo square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Uranus in Taurus celebrates the radical political change underway, then forms a trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Chiron in Aries, for advancing personal realization of dreams. The Sun square aspect to Pluto has ongoing ramifications of reorganization and transfer of powerful figures. While friction is produced in the upset, the consolidation of power seems stronger than before.

Sunday April 14th – With the Moon in Leo in a quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Neptune in Pisces, a satirical display is likely today, as power shifts are reflected in the cultural and individual mind. A Yod formation shifts with the Moon quincunx to both Pluto and Venus, contrasting the powerful and the meek. The Moon in a quincunx aspect to Pluto (generational) is then trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to the Sun in Aries and trine to Jupiter in Sag for a grand-trine configuration –  ease of movement – in fire signs (ambitious and aggressive). Domination is but an inspiration away, but the chance may also be lost. A final courageous leap is needed.

Monday April 15th – The Moon in Virgo today is helpful for repair work. However, a trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Uranus in Taurus, introduces an unpredictable (Uranus) element. Rashness could overpower caution. With focused caution (Virgo), inspiration (Uranus) could lead to a successful outcome.  A quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Chiron reminds us to apply wisdom in the search for meaning. A square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Mars later in the day could derail progress. Inclusiveness is important to maintain balance, focused on priorities as the Moon moves to an opposition aspect (180 deg, polarizing) with Neptune late in the day (or morning of the 16th depending on location). If this is a cause for celebration or dismissal could depend on the strategies taken.

Tuesday April 16th – The Moon in a trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Saturn in Capricorn allows for a return to stability.  Achievement of position slows forward progress. Complex stages of development or protocol are taken with the Moon trine to Pluto and square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Jupiter in Sag. Jupiter retrograde holds the focal point of a T-square configuration as it is in a square aspect to the Moon and to Venus in Pisces. While this is usually quite unstable, in this case Jupiter is in its own sign of Sagittarius and therefore has more authority. This could bring a decisive court decision. As the Moon is in a trine aspect to Pluto, it would have a broad effect of class action, and a reversal of power.  The Moon is in an opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to Mercury as Mercury ingress to Aries and the Moon into Libra. This could indicate a legal agreement (Moon in Libra) that introduces offers a new reality (Mercury in Aries) in the days ahead.

Have a successful week!
