The Full Moon in Scorpio early on Thursday opens us to the possibility of transforming our lives. As Nadiya Shah, in her youtube.com presentation of this week, reminds us it is the anniversary of the Buddha’s enlightenment. I strongly recommend her video for the advanced astrology at a fast pace. With Jupiter and Pluto in Capricorn separated by 3 degrees, people are anxious to return to their jobs, as the threat of contagion is reduced. Based on scientific projections the virus will claim more lives consequent to the increased social activity. Jupiter turning retrograde on the 15th of May could signal a return to the more stringent social distancing practices. Jupiter and Pluto will again be partile conjunction aspect in mid-June. Saturn in Aquarius is an indication that individuals will use their own judgement as to when they feel they need to return to work. Maintaining safeguards is essential, however, to prevent the transmission of the disease. A very difficult situation for many. Saturn turns retrograde on the 12th of May, as Mars ingress Pisces. This signals a return to a more cautious attitude on the part of many, as indications of contagion begin to rise.
Summary of Major Aspects of the Week
Wednesday May 6th – The Moon in Scorpio transits to the opposition aspect to Uranus by mid-day, as we try to comprehend the life or death chances we all take daily. A drastic increase or unexpected decline in the global incidence of disease, along with erratic economic features confront us all. The Moon square aspect to Saturn precedes the opposition aspect to Uranus, suggesting that too early a rejection of safety practices would be detrimental. The Moon in a quincunx aspect to Chiron in Aries indicates a difficulty in adjusting to the situation. Our own wisdom could contradict the powerful response received. Venus in Gemini is in a square aspect (0 deg, harsh) to Neptune. Neptune is the higher octave of Venus so sensitivity is heightened now. Words can carry a transcendent vibe.
