The Moon in Virgo opposes Neptune and Mercury, can we stand up to and reject Fake News? The Moon continues the transit from Virgo through Libra and Scorpio this week with an opposition to Uranus and Mars. A T-square formation brings more instability as Venus is square aspect to Uranus and the Moon. Action may be taken as a reaction as the Moon then opposes Mars. Although the Sun trine aspect to the Moon gives a more rational response. Hopefully a deepening crisis is averted. The crisis may be defused at the Venus-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn, as a voice of reason is heard.  Mercury and Venus are in a sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) throughout the week as we are more inclined to express and to modify our views. The Venus could be indicative of a well-placed voice in Congress on the 24^th of February.  The Moon transits strong Jupiter in Sag and ingress to Capricorn to conclude the episode for political adjustment. Finding a rational narrative to be convincing attitudes may change.

Summary of Major Aspects of the Week

Wednesday February 20^th –   The Moon in Virgo is at a critical opposition to Neptune-Mercury conjunction in Pisces. We become more aware of destructive or infiltrating influences that distort our thought processes. The Moon is then in a trine aspect to Saturn and Venus in Capricorn, bringing together a natural healing process. Parental influence is essential for a humanistic approach to social and cultural growth. With three planets and Chiron in Pisces and Jupiter in Sag forming a potential T-square configuration, expansive solutions are proffered from many sources on the political impasse.

Thursday February 21^st– Chiron moves into Aries as the inner voice of wisdom becomes vocal with the Moon in opposition aspect (120 deg, tension). We strive to have our personal views consistent or in line with innate wisdom. By accepting the correctness of humanitarian views we commit to live with in accordance with the values expressed. Mercury in Pisces is in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Jupiter in Sagittarius. We may have an opportunity and find a necessity to express a view on universal political reformation.  This could be a time of visionaries and reformers. Venus approaching a conjunction aspect to Pluto in Capricorn helps to transform cultural attitudes. Venus semi-sextile (30 deg, mildly favorable) to Jupiter helps to find social cohesion.  

Friday February 22^nd – The Moon in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Saturn in Capricorn as the conflict is open between a balance of interests and the authoritative views. Humanitarian interests need to be considered in implementing code of law. Venus and Pluto conjunction and semi-sextile to Jupiter with a square aspect to Mercury in Pisces continues and arguments about political attitudes that prevent humanitarian aid from reaching needy in the population., and so the coup gains power.

Saturday February 23^rd – Venus supersedes Pluto in Capricorn while Mercury square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Jupiter empowers a successful transformation.  The Moon in Libra transits the square aspect to Pluto and Venus and is then in an opposition aspect (180 deg, polarizing) to Uranus.  The revolution collapses the authoritarian rule. While hostages and martyrs are taken, the walls cave in. The Moon ingress Scorpio and then opposition aspect to Mars in Taurus as desires may be reflected on oneself.  

Sunday February 24^th – The Sun in Pisces approaches the sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Mars in Taurus, as power could dissolve to meet the humanitarian crisis. The Moon trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Neptune and sextile to Saturn could then motivate organizational responses to the overwhelming crisis situations.  The Moon the trine aspect to Mercury in Pisces and sextile to Pluto and Venus indicates a successful transformation, an empathetic voice enables a healing energy.

Monday February 25^th –  Energy flows easily this morning as many blocks are resolved. In the afternoon or evening hours, the Moon is quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Uranus in Aries as creative ideas are needed to preserve the beneficial powers.  The Moon ingress to Sag allows for the trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Chiron in Aries indicating the emergence of necessary actions aligned with inner guidance. Venus conjunction to Ketu (S. Lunar Node) retro allows for more productive use of experience, a guide to resolve a situation that involved a pattern in relationships. This could help evolve from a difficult situation.

Tuesday February 26^th – The Moon in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to the Sun for the 3^rd quarter Moon phase. As some resolution is anticipated there is now a potential for a crisis, or a sense of loss of stability. What we want to preserve must also change as we move toward a new set of circumstances. The Moon is also in a quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Mars, as creativity helps to overcome difficulties.
