The Presidential Inauguration chart on the 20th has the Sun ingress to Aquarius, and the Moon at 29° of Aries. By the end of the ceremony and celebrations, the Moon ingress to Taurus is accomplished to join with Uranus and Mars in Taurus a day later. This transit could trigger violent unrest, happening mainly in the eastern hemisphere, or close to midnight US time zones. The full Moon on Jan 27-28th, with the Moon in Leo, and the Sun conjunction aspect to Jupiter in Aquarius is a more positive time of acceptance and satisfaction or even pride. The programs proposed are both comprehensive and inspiring for the future. More details are in the daily descriptions itemized below. While we may not be in the exalted Age of Aquarius, the pathway there begins from home. Set your Waze app.
Summary of Major Aspects of the Week

12:00 PM Washington, DC
Wednesday January 20th — The US Presidential Inauguration at noon EST occurs as the Sun is in the first degree of Aquarius, the first quarter Moon phase as the Moon ingress to Taurus. A stellium in Aquarius for the full month ahead, until the Sun ingress to Pisces on February 18th. The well-known benefits of this sign of universal friendship begin to unfold. The ceremony draws together the nation and the world, as a symbol of democracy. Mars is in a partile conjunction with Uranus indicating a possible disruption of the proceedings. The goal (Mars) to reverse (Uranus) the inauguration is, however, a 12th House placement, therefore there is little opportunity for the expression of the potential violence. Venus, the dispositor of Mars and Uranus in Taurus. Venus is in the sign Capricorn and in the 9th House of the chart of the Inauguration, closely trine aspect to the Ascendant, showing Venus in the House of the judiciary influence, as the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court presides in the ceremony, and the President is sworn into office. All three branches of the government are represented, as Congress ratified the electoral votes, and the judiciary administers the oath. Jupiter in Capricorn and the 10th House, represents the power of the Judiciary, and is in a square aspect to Mars and Uranus, muting the expression of the discordant elements. Mercury in Aquarius is semi-sextile aspect to Ceres and Neptune in Pisces. The message of the day is directed to the youth and the future of the nation.
Thursday January 21st — Venus in Capricorn is the dispositor of the Moon and the planets Uranus and Mars in Taurus, as the Moon engages and combines the impact. The unprecedented security around the White House and throughout the city of Washington continues, to ward off aggressions. Security issues that resulted from the break-in of the Capitol and the offices of Congress precede with Jupiter in Aquarius and a close square aspect to Mars in Taurus (fixed signs). President Biden’s first day has been prepared for weeks. His first initiatives were planned and even publicized, as he tries to overturn many of Trump’s initiatives, especially concerning environmental issues (Moon, Uranus and Mars in Taurus) and immigration rights. Taurus, the fixed earth sign, protects the earth and property. The Moon is also a guardian.
Friday January 22nd — The Moon in Taurus is trine aspect to Venus in Capricorn early today, as the smooth initiation of planned events proceeds. The Moon in a square aspect to Mercury in Aquarius, indicates that the transmission of information is rapid, and could also result in some confusion. Jupiter in Aquarius continues with the square aspect to Mars in Taurus, uprooting long-held beliefs. Neptune loses its grip on 18° Pisces, and will continue in direct motion until June 25th. Ceres is in a conjunction aspect with Neptune indicating the interests of the youth in reform. Stalled initiates on immigration and as well as economic relief begin to change with new programs. Venus in Cap approaches the sextile aspect to Neptune with a sympathetic attitude toward immigration and those who have lost their homes in the pandemic.
Saturday January 23rd — The Moon ingress to Gemini early in the day (pre-dawn US time zones), presages the flowing of energy as the Moon will be in trine aspects to Sun, Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius. The Sun supersedes Saturn as a more progressive administration takes the helm. Saturn gives authority to implementation of a broad range of issues now facing the world as the efforts to combat the pandemic are increased. With the vaccines now available, a post-pandemic world is anticipated. Neptune and Ceres in Pisces with Venus in a sextile aspect allows for the healing process. Mars in Taurus in a square aspect to Jupiter in Aquarius could be an indication of backlash and initiatives to combat disinformation. Objections are raised concerning deficit spending.
Sunday January 24th — Conflicts arise today with the Mars square aspect to Jupiter, the Moon square aspect to the Neptune –Ceres pair in Pisces, and quincunx aspect to Venus in Capricorn. The combination of Venus, Moon and Neptune–Ceres could indicate the will to overcome the issues of the pandemic and resulting hardships. Reform gets underway. The Sun in a sextile aspect to Chiron in Aries indicates the benefits of experience and the wisdom engendered. The Sun conjunction aspect with Saturn continues as the levers of a beneficial power are implemented, a government with a sense of responsibility to the citizenry.
Monday January 25th — The Sun in Aquarius square aspect to Uranus in Taurus is in effect over 2-3 days this week. Radical issues concerning security and /or financial deficits surface. A transformation is called for to address the issues of health care. The will to address the concerns with a high level of intellect, combined with a comprehensive view, looking to the future, as the Sun transits between Saturn and Jupiter. The Moon ingress to Cancer, and later in the day, forms quincunx aspects to Saturn, Sun and Jupiter in Aquarius, and a sextile aspect to Uranus in Taurus. Individual acceptance of the initiatives proposed is problematic. The services may not be readily available, and access to relief, to the protection of the vaccine or financial assistance may be limited.
Tuesday January 26th — The Moon in Cancer is in a sextile aspect to Mars in Taurus, as improved access to vaccine has a significant impact on the spread of the virus in many areas. Implementation of health services increases rapidly. The Moon trine aspect to Neptune and Ceres in Pisces late in the day in the US or early morning in Europe, the Middle and Far East is a sign that healing and reform have a beneficial effect when applied.
