The Moon in the last decan of Aquarius will transit to the last decan of Taurus this week as we move from theoretical to actual results. Mercury turns direct observable motion on Monday the 13th. There should be more success in moving forward by the time the Sun in Cancer reaches the opposition aspect to Jupiter and Pluto next week on Tuesday and Wednesday, with power-plays likely. Jupiter and Pluto in Capricorn, both retrograde, continue to dominate with social reform and counter-reform actions.
Summary of Major Aspects of the Week
Wednesday July 8th – The Moon in Aquarius seeks higher ideals, favoring reform movements. The ingress to Pisces in the afternoon hours (US time zones) denotes actions of universal awareness and sacrifice for those ideals, as we are in the process of transforming cultural awareness (Pluto and Jupiter in Capricorn). Mars in Aries is in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Mercury retro in Cancer indicates verbal conflicts erupting, differences of opinion become loud and public, including in the media. The Moon in Pisces is trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Mercury late in the day or early Thursday morning in the eastern hemisphere, possibly helping to affirm a humanistic position.
Thursday July 9th – The Moon in Pisces makes a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Venus in Gemini, although with this combination of sign and planet the impact felt is mild rather than harsh, adjustments in attitudes may result. Enemies become friends, with the Moon semi–sextile (30 deg, sharp) to Chiron and sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) to Uranus. The Moon is in a trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to the Sun overnight, or early morning and a conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) to Neptune, as the Sun and Neptune are drawn into the configuration with a trine aspect. There is an easy relationship between the unconscious and conscious thought, with words and emotions flowing.
Friday July 10th – From the conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) with Neptune in Pisces early today, the Moon moves to sextile aspects (60 deg, helpful) to Jupiter and Pluto in Capricorn. This may ease tensions around the world. Prospects of a return to a more traditional US involvement in foreign affairs could create a friendlier tone. Saturn in Cap also signifies a more traditional leadership. Withdrawal of the pipeline project in the Dakotas brings relief for the environment.
Saturday July 11th – The Sun in Cancer reaches partile trine aspect (120 deg, slowing) with Neptune retro in Pisces, dissolving the monuments to the past is one indication. The Moon in Aries makes a square aspect to Mercury retro in Cancer, awakening active protests, and then transits to the conjunction aspects (0 deg, combining) with Mars and Chiron, as we look to a new era. Eliminating corruption in government is another goal, as preferential treatment is exposed. The sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Venus in Gemini, as the Moon is conjunct to Chiron, facilitates the expression of effective leadership.

Sunday July 12th – The Sun in Cancer reaches an effective orb of an opposition aspect (180 deg, polarized) to Jupiter conjunction with Pluto in Capricorn as the Moon in Aries transits to the focus of a t–square aspect. Mercury turns direct observable direction in Cancer, facilitating communication, as we look to the future. Keeping a balanced perspective is difficult. Movements are radicalized as they push forward for change. Oppressive regimes may impose restrictions as the balance of power tilts toward the authoritarian Capricorn with a tendency to maintain the status quo.
Monday July 13th – The Moon in Aries reaches the square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Saturn in Capricorn, as restrictions are imposed, and the Moon ingress to Taurus follows, helping to stabilize the situation. The Moon then progresses to a sextile aspect with Mercury in Cancer, as rational explanations are announced, a possibility of an agreement between the opposing parties.
Tuesday July 14th – The Moon in Taurus makes a conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) with Uranus, where unmet need resulting from pandemic disease and economic disasters are festering. The greed of the wealthy overshadows the needs of the struggling businesses. The Sun in opposition aspects to Pluto and Jupiter, draws out the graft and corruption in the very core of government.
