Both the shattering effect of Uranus and the wisdom of Chiron are entering the final phase of the transits through Aries and Pisces respectively. We become enriched as well as increasingly transformed in the past few years and months of the transits of the two planets which symbolize disparate yet complementary life experiences. Chiron will exit Pisces, the sign of the zodiac that symbolizes endings and new beginnings, on February 18th. Uranus will ingress Taurus for a seven-year sojourn, although it briefly enters Gemini July-November 2025, on March 6th. While we will see many innovations, perhaps more powerful displays of wealth in the coming years, the upsets of Uranus are followed by the ability to formalize human strategies. Thus, new leadership for the new age should arise. For the next few weeks we are dissolving the old order, and projecting into a new era.
Summary of Major Aspects of the Week
Wednesday February 6th – The Moon is in a sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) to Venus at its ingress to Pisces with a charming display of affection. Mercury in Aquarius is sextile aspect to Mars in Aries, as idealistic proposals are made. Another sextile today is that of the Sun in Aquarius to Jupiter in Sagittarius and could outweigh the other two in importance. Yet all can be supportive of implementation of more progressive goals. Jupiter seems the more dominant of the two in this configuration, as it is in its own sign- the fire-mutable sign of Sagittarius. This could be a quite victory for the collective voice, both media and parliamentary.
Thursday February 7th – The Moon in Pisces and a conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) to Neptune early in the day could inspire a dreamy state, nostalgia or possibly confusion as the new lunar cycle gets underway. The Sun remains in a sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Jupiter, while the Moon transits the square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to the same beneficiary. Agreeing intellectually to a process may still cause emotional pain.
Friday February 8th – The Moon’s ingress to Aries is early morning US times, afternoon in Europe and the Mid-Eastern nations, late afternoon in Australia. The initiation of new projects, new agreements and a more forward moving atmosphere helps to overcome the impasses of the past few weeks. With a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) from the Aries Moon to Venus in Capricorn, a strong stance is taken that could produce a confrontation. Visionaries speak with utopian goals, as the Sun in Aquarius is ripe in the sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) to Jupiter in fiery Sag. Saturn in Capricorn (administration) is enmeshed in the sextile aspect to Neptune in Pisces. The ability to differentiate (Saturn) becomes obscured (Neptune). The higher response to Neptune is to inspire, while the lesser evolved mode is to degrade. Taking the higher path in the jaws of disillusionment results in a purifying transformation.
Saturday February 9th – Mercury in Aquarius is sextile aspect (60 deg, advantageous) to Uranus in Aries motivates the trickster, the iconoclast and transgressor. Mercury in Aquarius is disposed of by Uranus as magical solutions are anticipated. The inability to accept the discipline of resolved actions leads to self-destructive acts. Revengeful actions with the Moon square aspect (90 deg, sharp) to Saturn take a toll on health. Saturn sextile aspect to Neptune then leads to addictive self- indulgence. Breaking down barriers in a negative or positive mode. A downward spiral should be avoided at all costs. The Moon in a trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Jupiter later in the day is either a victory over the temptations or a sinking into debauchery with some remorse. Ceres in Sagittarius seeks her abducted child in the underworld [see chart image] with the Moon in a square aspect to Pluto late in the day or overnight. Mercury ingress Pisces.
Sunday February 10th – The Moon forms a conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) to Mars and Uranus in Aries today, possibly igniting a firestorm of words and actions. Combustible materials should be guarded. Tempers may soar. It is a high-energy day for many, but beware of reckless actions. You may need to work off excess energy in sport activities. Mercury in Pisces provides for intuitive actions, and can be beneficial if not carried to excess. You may be in recovery mode late in the day, as the Moon ingress to Taurus with a sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Mercury in Pisces.
Monday February 11th – The Moon in Taurus is quincunx aspect (150 deg, problematic) to Ceres in Sag, as efforts to solidify political alliances are made. A trine aspect (120 deg, easy) from the Moon to Venus in Capricorn follows, as personal values are aligned to candidates who are supportive of traditional values. A trine aspect to Saturn follows, elevating the power of the homeless and migratory sectors with a sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) to Neptune from both Saturn and the Moon. Efforts to contain contagious diseases are implemented with Saturn sextile aspect to Neptune, and trine aspect to the Moon (health) in Taurus (fixed-earth).
Tuesday February 12th – A deep wisdom and guiding hand is needed to help us through this day, as the Mars-Uranus conjunction (0 deg, combining) could be very traumatic. The Moon is trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Pluto in the 1st quarter square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to the Sun. There is the possibility of a release of built up suffering and anxiety at a peak moment. Mars transcends Uranus overnight, and the Moon ingress to Gemini. Through expressing our feelings some relief is found in social media or non-virtual relationships.
