Summary of Major Aspects of the Week
Wednesday August 19th — After all the hoopla, the Moon, now in Virgo, is an indication that work and service needed.Putting details into the plan is essential, as too vague aplatform is rife for misinterpretations. Mercury conjunction aspect (0 deg, combined) to the Sun in Leo, as speech making is charismatic. The Moon in a trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Uranus late in the day, could provide some exceptional electronic visuals, or cautiously ambitious wins in the virtual realm. By the next morning, enthusiasm takes off with the Moon trine aspect to Jupiter in Capricorn. Hopefully, everyone takes care and stays safe. Mars in Aries approaches the square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Saturn in Cap, a possible eruption of harsh rhetoric, as disagreements mount. I cannot discount injuries that might occur under this influence.
Thursday August 20th — The Moon in Virgo in a trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Jupiter in Capricorn releases good energy to accomplish exalted goals. The opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to Neptune that follows in just hours could be a loss and an energy drain, deepening resolve and empathy — a sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) from Pluto–Jupiter midpoint to Neptune coincides. The Moon is then in a trine aspect to Pluto responding with an ever-deepening resolve. Finally, the Moon is in a trine aspect to Saturn as practical aid is mobilized.
Friday August 21st —The Moon ingress to Libra and a semi-sextile aspect (30 deg, slightly favorable) to Mercury, and Mars in Aries is in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Saturn in Capricorn. The hard aspect between the two conflicting malefic planets, denotes a tragedy that could not be avoided, perhaps earthquake or natural event, as a strong force (Mars in Aries) hits an immovable object (Saturn in Cap). A planet is in its domecile carries an amplified force. The Moon in Libra and square aspect to Venus in Cancer (a mutual reception) denotes an empathetic response to tragedy and the injured.
Saturday August 22nd — The Moon in Libra makes a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Jupiter retro in Capricorn with a sharp relief — an abundance of material assistance. The universal outreach continues with the Moon square aspect to Pluto retro and then to Saturn retro in Cap. The Sun ingress to Virgo as we focus on the task at hand. The Moon in a quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Neptune, indicating confusion, on how to really remedy the situation, feeling impelled rather than compelled. The Moon forms an opposition aspect (180 deg, forceful) to Mars in Aries before the square aspect to Saturn, as at last we are compelled to assist and be counted as a part of the solution.
Sunday August 23rd — The Moon makes the ingress to Scorpio early morning hours, and in a sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) to the Sun in Virgo, for deepened empathy. The Moon’s sextile aspect to Mercury follows later in the afternoon, as communication illuminates the depth of the crisis at hand. The Moon’s opposition aspect (180 deg, polarized) to Uranus uncovers the real depth even as a painful recovery is underway.
Monday August 24th — The Moon in Scorpio and in a trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Venus in Cancer expresses sympathy, moves to the sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) with Jupiter in Capricorn to produce abundant resources and a trine aspect to Neptune in Pisces follows indicating a dispersion of resources to the needy. Mars in the square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Saturn in Cap continues with very strong aftershocks, and many smaller earthquakes around the world. The Moon transits in Scorpio to make sextile aspects to Pluto and Saturn as tragedy deepens.
Tuesday August 25th — The Moon ingress to Sagittarius early morning with a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to the Sun in Virgo, the 1st quarter Moon, indicates a developing crisis. Practical and logistical issues collide. Yet, Venus in Cancer is in an opposition aspect (180 deg, complementary) to Jupiter in Capricorn, as needs are finally met with the necessary resources. Mercury in Virgo and in a trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Uranus in Taurus as the fleet-footed messenger takes to the Internet. The Moon in a square aspect to Ceres in Pisces responds to the generational instinct to help the suffering of others, the victims of a tragedy.
