Overview

The Moon transits from Libra to Aquarius this week, making a stellium of six in Aquarius beginning Tuesday. For a configuration to be counted as major, it must contain an unusual constellation of planets/and or luminaries. Four planets in a single sign, for example, is not a very rare occurrence, but can be considered a stellium. A six stellar stellium, such as we are witness to this week, is very rare. This is a signal that the Aquarian Age has in fact begun. Next week, the Jupiter-Venus conjunction in Aquarius could add visionary satisfaction to the resulting negotiations and scientific achievements. Personal satisfaction is at a peak level, as the pandemic declines in force. Saturn in Aquarius with a square aspect to Uranus in Taurus this week, begins to define the rules for the new age. Saturn turns retro in May, as the square aspect to Uranus is again formed in June and at the end of December, when Saturn is direct and Uranus retro. Astrology could be regarded as more useful this season, pinpointing economic cycles and epidemics or outbreaks of violence, as social forces are recognized as in sync with planetary cycles.

Thursday February 4th — The Moon in Scorpio is in an opposition aspect to Mars in Taurus, early morning hours in the US, very early on the west coast. Waking up to unfortunate news, financial loss or disarray, requires that reason prevails to avoid sinking into argumentation and suffering. The Sun in Aquarius favors the acceptance of responsibility to take matters in hand and resolve the situation as best as possible, saving lives and livelihood. The Sun is at the focal point of the T-square formed by the opposition and square aspects to Mars and the Moon. The third quarter Moon is at 9:38 AM PST. The final phase of the soli-lunar cycle brings a crisis in the resolution of matters from the new Moon on Jan 13th. Local issues, including excess rain or personal health concerns need immediate attention. Venus in Aquarius makes semi-square aspects to the Neptune-Ceres conjunction in Pisces. Attractions to illusionary figures are inspired.
Friday February 5th — The Moon ingress to Sagittarius by mid-day (evening in the Eastern hemisphere), with a release of the impassioned focus of gain or health. Venus, with the conjunction to Saturn in Aquarius, is sextile aspect to Chiron and square aspect to Uranus in Taurus. There is a measure of caution applied to radical movements. Wisdom gained from past experience (Chiron) should be brought to bear on the present when applied to control (Saturn) over radical forces (Uranus), whether concerning political opponents or personal conflicts, as the Moon approaches the sextile aspect to Venus and Saturn, also making a quincunx aspect to Uranus.
Saturday February 6th — Venus in Aquarius supersedes Saturn, although the square aspect from the pair to Uranus continues in effect. More innovative measures are implemented for social benefit. The Moon in Sagittarius sextile aspect to Jupiter, to begin the day, or to add a more advantage, especially in agreement to social affiliations. Dreams seem to materialize. The Moon in a quincunx aspect to Mars and conjunction aspect to Ketu, could release emotional distortions. The Moon sextile aspect to the Sun foretells cooperation at all levels, while a square aspect to Neptune in Pisces recalls the sorrows of human experience. Work to overcome issues for the greater good. The Moon sextile aspect to Mercury retrograde follows, as reminisces can apply to improve acceptance of the present.
Sunday February 7th — The Moon is semi-sextile to Pluto while the Sun is semi-sextile to Neptune. This gives a sense that we are all a part of the human experience, participating in the drama of the year. Our fate is the fate of humanity. The collective experience is most important now, as the drive to inoculate the population reaches a peak moment. The Moon ingress to Capricorn later in the day, brings a desire for greater perfection.
Monday February 8th — The Sun in Aquarius supersedes Mercury retrograde. The conjunction aspect of Sun and Mercury elevates the importance of a collective mentality and cultural unity. Putting the good of the people before a political expediency to benefit a collective prosperity, is the issue of the day. The Moon in a trine aspect to Uranus in Taurus opens reserves for individual security. The Moon semi-sextile to Venus and Jupiter, as Venus approaches the conjunction aspect with Jupiter as agreements are announced to compensate for loss incurred during the pandemic.
Tuesday February 9th — The Moon in Capricorn makes a trine aspect to Uranus and a semi-sextile aspect to the Sun in Aquarius before reaching the conjunction aspect to Pluto. The power to transform the plight of the individual lies within the collective agreements made by officials elected to serve. The Moon ingress to Aquarius by mid-day, approaching the conjunction aspect to Saturn and a trine aspect to Uranus.
