Mid-Summer Lunar Cycle — July 6-13 2022

Overview

The Moon in Libra attempts to balance our accounts, or make amends at the opposition aspect to Jupiter, followed by square aspect to the Sun at the 1st quarter Moon phase, as new crisis develops for a new week of challenges in the mid-summer lunar cycle.  The Moon in an opposition to Chiron finds purpose.  On Saturday the 9th of July, the Moon is in an opposition aspect to Uranus in Taurus, a challenge to the ongoing transformation process, as Mars in Taurus seeks greater profit as the Moon is trine aspect to the Sun. The Moon ingress to Sagittarius on the 10th, to the Yod formation with Sun and Uranus on Monday. Favorable aspects on Tuesday makes it an excellent day for promotions. The full Moon phase on Wednesday maximizes the benefits and deficits.

Summary of Major Aspects of the Week

Wednesday July 6th — The Moon in Libra is in an opposition aspect to Jupiter in Aries, expanding the need for balance as greater imbalance is experienced. Personal triumphs must take the social reaction into account. Mars in the 1st degree of Taurus is the dispositor of Jupiter in Aries, as financial rewards are anticipated. Integrating personal ambitions into social framework is vital, or radical damage can result. The lust for power is at a high level. The first Quarter Moon at 10:15 EST marks a time an imminent crisis reaches a peak. The Moon is in an opposition aspect to Chiron as Moon and Chiron are square aspect to the Sun. Leadership is vital to maintaining a balance, as protection for the young and unborn seems to overwhelm the social equality needed to fulfill humanity. The Moon is also trine aspect to Venus in Gemini, while the Venus is sextile aspect to Chiron, the debate gains credence from the voice of feminine leadership, as relationships are politicalized. The Moon is quincunx aspect to Uranus in Taurus and Venus is semisextile to Uranus, triggering instability in economic matters. Radical figures also emerge to take the podium of public discourse.

Pluto in Cap and Saturn in Aquarius both retro, with Saturn the dispositor of Pluto, represent the institutional lack of responsibility.
