Overview

The New Moon in Libra morning hours in a conjunction aspect with Mars energizes this month for achievement. On the 13^th of October, the Moon conjunction aspect with Pluto helps to finalizes goals. Build for the future now. Venus ingress to Sagittarius on the Thursday the 7^th of October. Moon opposition aspect to Uranus on Friday the 8^th as the Sun in Libra supersedes Mars. Moon and Venus conjunction aspect to Ketu on the 9^th, as Mercury retro conjunction aspects to Sun and Mars.  Mercury and the social planets except for Mars, and the universal planets, i.e., six planets, remain in retrograde as well as Chiron while Ceres slows to retrograde on the 10^th. We are looking to the past darkly.  While the Covid-19 virus seems in retreat, economic, health and environmental issues remain critical.

Summary of Major Aspects of the Week

Wednesday October 6^th — The New Moon, at about 7AM EDT, is in a conjunction aspect with Mars, forming a stellium in Libra with Mercury retrograde. Uranus retro is partile quincunx aspect to the Sun, Moon and Mars. Revelations of financial tax havens of the rich constitute a jolting news item for many.  The jaded and bejeweled who own the countries’ wealth, especially when they also are also the monarchs or permanent rulers for decades, wielding absolute power, could also upend the agenda of the moderate, democratic states. The quincunx aspect is neither favorable or entirely hard. It requires adjustments and could work to advance the evolution toward greater knowledge and understanding. Libra recognizes dysfunction and works to restore balance. Mars sets a goal at the New Moon, that will play out in the coming cycle. How will the dysfunction be addressed and by whom? Mercury retro is separating from the trine aspect with Jupiter in Aquarius. The stellium in Libra is disposed of by Venus in Scorpio. While Venus has no significant aspects at the New Moon, as the dispositor in Scorpio she will dig deeply into the affairs of states and finances. Venus ingress to Sadge the following day, still in the New Moon context, will seek to renew the social contract through courts or possibly academia.  The historical context of the wealthy and their obligation to the masses of humanity are issues that need to be raised. Mercury retro separating from the quincunx aspect to Neptune retro gains clarity. The Moon conjunction aspect to Mercury as more information is released and the trine aspect to Jupiter could indicate gestures of generosity.

Thursday October 7^th — As Venus ingress Sadge, the Moon at 29 Libra obsessively seeks to justify initiating laws for conformity.  Mars–Sun conjunction aspect endures, a time for objective goal setting with partners. The Moon ingress to Scorpio will test the relationship with a square aspect to Saturn retro in Aquarius in the evening hours (US time zones). Personal reflections or hidden agendas must be revealed. Pluto in Cap begins a direct phase of orbit, as a redirection of energies on all levels of government and authority becomes pervasive.

Friday October 8^th — The Sun supersedes Mars in Libra, as the Moon in Scorpio is in an opposition aspect to Uranus retro in Taurus. Venus conjunction aspect to Ketu in Sadge initiates a clearing phase of the cycle, as a change of habitual actions is mandated. The stellium in Libra emphasized the good for the community over that of individual choice. Implementing new norms and behaviors affects us all.  Funds are released for targeted causes.

Saturday October 9^th — Mercury retro in Libra conjunction aspect to Sun and Mars empowers implementation for law and order. The Moon ingress Sadge triggers the Venus conjunction aspect with Ketu as past-life karma surfaces. Karmic relationships are revealed or possibly released. This can free us for more meaningful relationships in the present. Now we can see more realistically, as Saturn in Aquarius stations and turns direct. We now have a firmer grasp of reality.

Sunday October 10^th — Saturn in Aquarius defines the social concept, while the Moon in Sadge disperses. Curriculums are adjusted to meet the current social context, promoting equality in institutions, as Pluto direct changes course, the social context is reformatted.  
The Moon is sextile aspect to Mercury retro in Libra with social reformation taught in homes and religious institutions. The Moon in a quincunx aspect to Uranus in Taurus indicates that charitable giving is a priority. Ceres in Gemini turns retrograde motion and in opposition aspect to the Moon in Sadge. Pressing for social advantage is deflated. The Moon is then square aspect to Neptune in Pisces and sextile aspect to Jupiter in Aquarius, for more awareness of universal suffering, and more generous responses to appeals for assistance. 

Monday October 11^th — The Moon ingress to Capricorn while Mercury retro in Libra makes a quincunx aspect to Uranus in Taurus, prompting rationalizations of restrictions and economic disparities, prioritizing security issues. Mars and Sun in Libra are in a conjunction aspect, as Mercury retro continues in the quincunx aspect to Uranus, upsetting powerful entities with more critical financial demands. 

Tuesday October 12^th —  The Moon in Capricorn is in a square aspect to Chiron in Aries early today, challenging authority. Then the square aspect to Mercury retro comes into focus, tending to reverse decisions. The trine aspect to Uranus in Taurus indicates that budgetary allotments may be reversed. Disciplinary procedures may be imposed with the Moon square aspect to Mercury retro in Libra. Mercury retro in Libra is trine aspect to Ceres retro in Gemini as the first quarter Moon is reached, a crisis in implementing reforms affects the younger generations.
