Full Moon with Major Impact-December 11-18 2019

The Full Moon on Wednesday this week, prior to the New Moon Eclipse of December 26th, reflects the contest that the Congressional hearings on Impeachment is assigned. With three major configurations, a T-square, a Yod, and a Stellium at the Full Moon, the astrological theme of a conflict of great importance, likely to have major ramifications historically, as well for politics of the day, and for the success of the world’s greatest democracy. The central issues at stake go beyond the partisan conflict, into an historical test for survival of the US system of government. The sky does indeed reflect the conflict abundantly, a validation not only of astrology but of the importance of this week, as lawmakers vote to uphold the rule of Constitutional law.

Wednesday December 11thVenus is in a conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) to Saturn in Capricorn lending a softer view of the strict Saturn, strong in its rulership sign. The imposing of a harsh rule is modified concerning justifiable circumstances. Mars in Scorpio in a trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Neptune in Pisces, seeks to diffuse the issues at hand, or to eliminate distracting elements and focus on the most critical offences. Neptune is the focal point of a tsquare, as the Moon in Gemini approaches the opposition aspect to the Sun. Neptune’s placement is central to the day’s actions. Neptune in Pisces is a ruler and final dispositor. As a purveyor of conspiracy, the challenge to align discussions to theory is indeed difficult. The Sun in a semi-sextile aspect (30 deg, slight) to Saturn and Venus lends support to maintain focus as well as to solidify the tolerance in the framework or the process. The Full Moon overnight brings the impact of the day into focus.

Thursday December 12thVenus is conjunct the midpoint of SaturnPluto conjunction and a conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) to both. This strong trio in Capricorn seeks to bring about justice (Venus) while moderating for greatest appeal. The rule of law is strongly indicated with Saturn in Capricorn. From the Full Moon, the Moon transits into Cancer late in the day, retreating into a self-protective mode, and an opposition aspect (180 deg, polarized) to Jupiter in Cap. This could also be a self-congratulatory time of retreat.  There is a glow of appreciation for the work accomplished. Mars in Scorpio trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Neptune in Pisces promotes an idealistic view. The Sun is semi-sextile (30 deg, slight) to Venus, as honors are given.

Friday December 13thVenus conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) to Pluto in Capricorn mollifies implosive tendencies, and the Sun in Sadge and semi-sextile (30 deg, mild) to the pair encourages a philosophical attitude. The Moon in Cancer and a conjunction aspect to Rahu, indicates low energy in the early part of the day. Uranus is trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Jupiter in earth signs find a firm basis for venting. Standards are maintained, despite the revelations presented. Mars in Scorpio trine aspect to Neptune in Pisces reaches partile, as avid sympathies are expressed, the Moon joining with trine aspects to both Neptune and Mars for a grand-trine configuration. The vibrations are raised to a transcendent level.

Saturday December 14th – The Moon transits to the opposition aspect (180 deg, bi-polar) to Saturn, then Pluto and finally Venus, as each energy is resolved or actualized. Jupiter trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Uranus as revolutionary ideas are absorbed into political thought with (Mercury in Sadge) disposed of by Jupiter. The Moon in Cancer is quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to the Sun in Sadge as difficult adjustments are required. The Moon ingress to Leo late in the day, with a trine aspect to Chiron in Aries, and a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Uranus in Taurus, as expressions of discontent are modified, and a quincunx aspect to Jupiter in Capricorn as limitations are imposed.      

Sunday December 15th – The Moon in Leo is in a trine aspect (120 deg, flossing) to Mercury in Sadge, as reason is applied, or, if rejected, political favors are likely to be offered. Mars in Scorpio approaches the sectile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Saturn in Cap for more aggressive attacks on persons in office also could indicate that conflicts of interest surface.

Monday December 16th – The Moon in Leo is in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Mars in Scorpio, creates incentive and is in a quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Neptune in Pisces, add in more confusion to reactions. A quincunx aspect to Saturn in Cap follows, with less ambiguity. The Moon’s quincunx aspect to Pluto that follows – a call to action to followers – is problematic. The trine aspect to the Sun and a simultaneous quincunx aspect to Venus may have a more calming effect. Mars in a sextile aspect to Saturn can settle outstanding issues. Passions are calmed.

Tuesday December 17th – The Moon ingress to Virgo early in the day forms a grand trine in earth signs with trine aspects (120 deg, flowing) to Uranus retro in Taurus and Jupiter in Cap. The energy is buoyant as prospects for accomplishing goals are increased. There is a finality about actions today that are a summation of recent events leading into the Moon in trine aspect to Ceres in Cap, late in the day, benefiting agriculture and sustainable living.
