Overview

The Sun ingress to Libra on Saturday, the fall equinox, while the Moon transits from Scorpio to Pisces this week, through the signs Sagittarius, Capricorn, and Aquarius, signs currently without planets. Thus the Moon transits from the group of personal planets in social signs, through the universal signs (Sagittarius, Capricorn, and Aquarius) to combine with the heavy retrograde planets grouped from Pisces through Taurus [see chart insert]. The Moon, as it makes a conjunction to each planet, modifies and brings to expression qualities of the sign with the energy attributions. The aspects the Moon forms as it transits, to each planet signifies the possible expression of the modifying role, taken by individuals that find it relates to their focus and expression of analysis. Progress toward more enlightened community is possible as humankind seeks to evolve to a higher expression of soul potential.

Summary of major aspects of the week

Wednesday September 20^th — The Moon in Scorpio sextile aspect to the Sun in Virgo and sextile aspect to Pluto in Capricorn, as the Sun is trine aspect to Pluto. This may symbolize the intervention of personal accounts in the application of collective power. The Moon ingress to Sagittarius (14:07 UT). Judicial issues take form, as the Moon makes a square aspect to Saturn retro in Pisces. Mars in Libra makes a quincunx aspect to Jupiter retro in Taurus, as resolution of financial contests is sought. Mars and Jupiter are disposed of by Venus in Leo. Venus is disposed of by the Sun in Virgo, disposed of by Mercury in its sign of rulership, Virgo. Critical analysis is favored in resolving issues at hand. The Sun transcends the opposition aspect to Neptune retro, moving forward issues that were held in contention. Venus in an approaching sextile aspect to Mars, aids in the transition of reform, abiding by decisions.

Thursday September 21^st — The Moon in Sagittarius makes a square aspect to Mercury in Virgo early morning (US time zones), afternoon in Europe and the ME. This could put us on edge, uncertain about the future. A quincunx aspect to Jupiter in Taurus and a simultaneous sextile aspect to Mars in Libra gives a better opening for success. A grand-trine configuration in fire signs, indicating momentum toward goals with the Moon trine aspects to Chiron in Aries and Venus in Leo. Judicial and congressional issues start to find an avenue of agreement. The Moon quincunx aspect to Uranus retro in Taurus follows, with objections raised by radical elements. Financial assistance could be rescinded.

Friday September 22^nd — The Moon in Sagittarius makes a square aspect to Neptune retro in Pisces, casting doubt on reform movements, or assistance to the underprivileged. A square aspect to the Sun (19:33 UT) in the final degree of Virgo could indicate a forced compromise agreement, or a crisis in the process. Venus in Leo trine aspect to Chiron retro in Aries (disposed of by Mars in Libra) helps by bringing the elder’s wisdom to the bargaining table. Moon ingress to Capricorn (20:21 UT; 14:21 EDT) as a measure of stability is reached for a finalized agreement.

Saturday September 23^rd — The fall equinox, the Sun ingress to Libra (02:51 EDT; 06:51 UT). Mars in Libra and an opposition aspect to Chiron retro in Aries, indicates backlash or a rejection of agreements, yet a grand-trine configuration in earth signs, smooths the way—the Moon in Capricorn trine aspect to Mercury in Virgo and trine aspect to Jupiter retro in Taurus by 16:00 EDT. Venus in a separating sextile aspect to Mars in Libra, and a separating trine aspect to Chiron retro in Aries—a measure of pride facilitates the advancement of agreement for mutual benefit.  

Sunday September 24^th — The Moon in Capricorn makes a trine aspect to Uranus retro in Taurus, as the Sun in Libra is quincunx aspect to Saturn retro in Pisces. Saturn is the dispositor of the Moon. Agreements are ratified, although not entirely satisfactorily. The Moon makes a sextile aspect to Neptune retro in Pisces for last minute adjustments, and then a conjunction aspect with Pluto retro in Cap for finalization. The Moon ingress to Aquarius (23:30 UT) evening hours in the US, the Moon trine aspect to the Sun, and semi-sextile aspect to Saturn in Pisces, for greater peace of mind.

Monday September 25^th — Mercury in Virgo is partile trine aspect to Jupiter retro in Taurus, as work continues smoothly, the strike action was successful. The Moon in Aquarius makes a quincunx aspect to Mercury and square aspect to Jupiter, as improvements in conditions result in a quality outcome. The Moon makes a trine aspect to Mars in Libra, raising the level of personal goal achievement.  

Tuesday September 26^th — The Moon in Aquarius makes an opposition aspect to Venus in Leo, and then square aspect to Uranus retro in Taurus. A T-square configuration. Uranus is the dispositor of the Moon. Upsets can be expected, although remedies may also be at hand with Venus offering care. It could be a good day for financial success, although losses for others.
