The Full Moon in Aries overnight, with Mercury superseding the Sun in Libra, was held in check by Saturn in Capricorn. Saturn will restrain or slow down a process. The Moon then moved to a square aspect (90 deg, forceful) to Pluto in Cap. Explosive issues and revelations are surfacing under this aspect. While Libra loves balance and harmony, the equation is suddenly upset. Aggressive Mars is magnified by a conjunction with Ketu in Aquarius. This was beneficial for Tiger Woods win of the PGA Tournament on the 23rd, but unfortunate for Brett Kavanaugh’s disputed nomination. The past never goes away under this influence. Look for my upcoming e-book that will give more details on Tiger’s chart.
Summary of Major Aspects of the Week
Wednesday September 26th – The Sun in Libra is in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Saturn in Capricorn, while the Moon is in square aspect to Pluto. New revelations are made that test legitimacy and political standings. Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn and a final dispositor of the transit chart for its stay in Cap. This gives an emphasis on judicial and political authority. There is a focus on the system of government and the functioning of the political system for the next two years. Organizations of all kinds are highlighted. Ceres at 8 deg Libra is conjunct (close alignment, combining) Mercury in the sign ruled by Venus. Venus transits Scorpio as relationship issues are brought into the balance of power and for political appointments. Also, kindness toward children and rescue of animals from flood waters draw media interest.
Thursday September 27th – The Moon ingress to Taurus today conjunct transiting Uranus retro, and then forming a trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Saturn in Capricorn. A square (90 deg, harsh) aspect to Mars in Aquarius follows. While Saturn will lend a steady hand to a volatile situation with the easy trine aspect, Mars further upsets the apple cart. The Sun in Libra is in a trine aspect to Mars, as personalities under scrutiny defend their honor. Ceres, a voice of past injury, a psychological assault and Mars (conjunct Ketu) is burdened with the past that comes to haunt the nominee (Sun in Libra). Judge Kavanagh with natal Sun, Venus and Mercury in Aquarius, has transiting Mercury and Ceres trine his natal Venus. His allies defend his character, while the Sun is in a trine aspect to Mars and Ketu undermining testimony. The Moon today is in a quincunx aspect to the Sun and Mercury in Libra. The conflicting accounts leaves a problematic bad taste in the mouth.
Friday September 28th – The Moon is in a trine aspect to Neptune early today, as there is a more relaxed attitude, maybe even relief. Enjoyment may lead to escapism, so stay within limits you have set. A trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Pluto could indicate a transformation in personal health, or benefits for a community. Resources are distributed by legislation. The Moon is then in opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to Jupiter for a bountiful weekend. The Sun in Libra is trine aspect to Mars in Aquarius (air signs) as many people will engage in avid discussions.
Saturday September 29th – The Moon ingress to Gemini today, will later form a grand-trine configuration with Mars in Aquarius and the Sun in Libra. The easy flow of information could indicate a rapid movement and/ or a swift confirmation of appointed Judge Kavanagh [see above image]. A popular movement gains power although tradition is affirmed. While Neptune opposes Kavanagh’s natal Pluto-Uranus conjunction, besmirching his appointment, there are no other indications of upsets today.
Sunday September 30th – The Moon in Gemini forms a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Neptune in Pisces although the Moon and Neptune are both indications of emotionally wrought conditions, and in a square aspect there may be conflicting emotions, or terse emotions expressed, there is an innate acceptance and adaptability with Moon in Gemini. Rationality overcomes doubt. The Moon is also in a trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Mercury in Libra, for a more rational response.
Monday October 1st – The Moon will leave Gemini today and transit to its home sign of Cancer. A sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Uranus in Taurus early is a less favorable reconciliation. Quick action may prevent more serious or violent reactions. Self-harm may be taken or warned. The Moon is later in an opposition aspect (180 deg, stressful) to Saturn in Capricorn, as parental control prevents rebellion, and/or personal reactions to authority are likely. A third-quarter Moon late in the day (US times) denotes a crisis in resolution as we need to let go of previous assumptions.
Tuesday October 2nd – The third quarter Moon phase is disseminating energy, as the cycle is resolving conflicts, the Moon in Cancer forms a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to the Sun in Libra early in the day or overnight (depending on your location) and then forms a square aspect to Mercury in Libra. Harsh criticism is likely to follow. A trine aspect to Venus in Scorpio from the Moon is followed a few hours later by a trine aspect to Neptune in Pisces, as a grand-trine in water signs is formed by the lunar transit. Emotions are pouring out in condolence and congratulations. An opposition aspect (180 deg, conflict) to Pluto in Cap from the Moon in Cancer emphasizes attitudes and power conflicts. A trine aspect to Jupiter at the close of the day, as new alliances are formed to share common interests.
