The Moon opposition to Mars sets the tone for the week’s preview. The Moon in Gemini is flexible, tending to anxiety. Mars in Sagittarius denotes goal setting in the arena of politics and courts, higher education and of philosophical issues. Looking ahead long range, and setting new goals can be based on the reactions to the Venus/Neptune in Pisces, as the two planets are extended in a conjunction aspect with the square aspect from Mars in Sadge. The Moon in opposition to Mars helps to balance the outcome of the chronic situation. Mercury in Pisces and sextile aspect to Uranus in Taurus promotes solutions and remedies for emergency measures. The Moon moves into Cancer to oppose Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn, highlighting the global issues of government, economy and health. Venus ingress Aries on Feb 7th, and the Moon into Leo with the Full Moon phase on Feb 9th, that is the opposition aspect to the Sun in Aquarius. Venus makes a conjunction aspect with Chiron in Aries, as it moves out of the range of Neptune and the square aspect from Mars. Moon in Virgo opposes Mercury and Neptune on Tuesday and in Libra on Wednesday in opposition to Chiron and Venus.
Summary of Major Aspects of the Week
Wednesday February 5th – As the Moon in Gemini is in an opposition aspect (180 deg, polarized) to Mars overnight, the confusion and chronic problems begin to be cleared up. The Moon provides a balance, creating a T-square formation to the Neptune–Venus midpoint in Pisces allowing for come clarity. The results of the primary in Iowa and the final votes on impeachment in the US Senate are expected. The Moon continues with an ingress to Cancer, a cardinal sign of the water element, forming a trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Mercury in Pisces, a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Chiron in Aries and a sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) to Uranus in Taurus. If words alone can affect a nation’s direction, certainly this is such a time. Adam Schiff with Venus in conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) with his natal Sun in Cancer provided thoughtful fodder in his closing remarks on Monday for the growth of a nation.
Thursday February 6th – The Moon in Cancer forms an opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to Jupiter in Capricorn by afternoon (US time zones), with some hope for healing. This aspect indicates more cooperation with opponents, as goals become clearer. Venus moves forward in Pisces, separating from Neptune, and leaving Mars without a focus on the midpoint that created an image of the entrenched situation. Mars in Sagittarius is semi–sextile aspect (30 deg, quick) to Pluto in Cap, a motivating factor for an adjustment to consensus of opinions in a major population group.
Friday February 7th – The Moon in Cancer is in an opposition aspect (180, tension) to Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn, striking the midpoint as well as the quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Mars in Sagittarius, with some focused efforts to create proposals adjusting political policies to put limitations (Saturn) on power (Pluto). Venus transits into Aries at the Moon’s ingress to Leo, and a trine aspect with a freeing sense of joy.

February 8-9 2020
Saturday February 8th – The Moon in Leo finds relaxation with a release of tensions, and quincunx aspects (150 deg, complex) to both Jupiter in Capricorn and Neptune in Pisces prior to the Full Moon opposition aspect (180 deg, fulfillment) overnight, a purifying influence as a Yod configuration is formed. Finding the right pressure points leads to radical recovery. Some minor aspects develop between Mars and Saturn — a semi-sextile (30 deg, urging) —and between Mercury and Pluto a semi–square (45 deg, impulse) as perfection becomes a goal.
Sunday February 9th – The Moon in Leo and trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Mars in Sagittarius and quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to the midpoint of the Saturn/Pluto conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) in Capricorn early in the day are aspects of strengthening and healing as new goals are sought. The Venus/Chiron conjunction in Aries receives a sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) from Ceres in Aquarius, as new bonds are formed across generations. The Moon ingress to Virgo and trine aspect to Uranus in Taurus late in the day (E. hemisphere) when innovative progress helps find solutions to virus epidemics.
Monday February 10th – The Moon in Virgo is in an opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to Mercury in Pisces as hope for the success of trial cures increases. The Moon in a trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Jupiter in Capricorn indicates dramatic success in practical management. The Moon then is in an opposition aspect to Neptune in Pisces as methods are applied to patients suffering from the disease.
Tuesday February 11th – The Moon in Virgo is trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Pluto early in the morning (US time zones) followed by a trine aspect to Pluto and a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Mars in Sadge by mid-morning. Limitations on power and limits on the epidemic are possible results or outcomes of the day’s actions. Ceres in Aquarius (vision) is in a square aspect to Uranus (innovation) with breakthroughs or generational conflicts.
