This week the Moon traverses the zodiac from Capricorn to Aries, that is from Wednesday the 24th of April until Wednesday the 1st of May. The harsh square aspects from the Moon to Venus and Mercury in Aries follow the soft aspects to both the Sun and Uranus in Taurus, as exceptional pride may be followed by adverse reactions. Exceptional luck should be viewed with caution. (The tax man awaits.) As we are propelled into the future, we also have the problems of identity and personal reform (Saturn and Pluto). The Lunar transit of Saturn in conjunction aspect with Ketu in Capricorn could be a status breaker. This is followed by the Moon’s conjunction aspect to Pluto, regenerating even as the old is discarded. The 3rd Quarter lunar phase follows with a crisis in accepting the necessary adjustments. What occurs at the Third Quarter Moon phase, with the Moon in Aquarius, disposed of by Uranus in Taurus, could be another exceptional event of terror and/or another exposure of corruption. With Mars square aspect to Neptune at the same time, this could mean an attempt to divert attention with counter actions. Mars is in a conjunction aspect to DJT’s natal Uranus, and this alone would produce some dramatic action, mostly hostile. However, with Neptune in a square aspect to this degree there are complications. Jupiter is in an opposition aspect to his natal Sun. The Moon transits his natal Ceres, while he is protective of his family his position is threatened.
Summary of Major Aspects of the Week
Wednesday April 24th – The Moon in Capricorn is in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Mercury in Aries as information gathering is critical to the success of future projects. Saturn in Capricorn is in a close conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) with Ketu. The outer planets (Saturn and Trans-Saturnians) are arranging into long-term positions.
Thursday April 25th – Venus is semi-sextile aspect (30 deg, mildly favorable) to the Sun for mild pleasure-seeking, while Mars in Gemini is approaching the square aspect (90 deg, hard) to Neptune in Pisces. The Moon transits Saturn, Ketu and Pluto bringing more austerity, more depth of emotional intention and a possible upheaval. The long-term work with intentional goals could reach a well-earned reward. Actions that are retaliatory in intent lack acceptance. Uranus in Taurus in a semi–square aspect (45 deg, sharp) to Neptune in Pisces could signify that violent actions are prevented.
Friday April 26th – The Moon in Aquarius today, square aspect (90 deg, hard) to Uranus in Taurus could initiate disruptions, just 4 hours before the Moon square aspect to the Sun, as a crisis results in muted actions. Mercury, Venus and Chiron are disposed of by Mars in Gemini, and Mars is in a square aspect to Neptune. Neptune may dampen the effects of the hard aspect so that actions taken are more scattered or circumspect. Uranus is in a semi-square aspect (45 deg, difficult) to both Mars and Neptune. Taking the high-ground, Uranus would be able to withhold radical elements.

Saturday April 27th – The Moon forms a sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Mercury in Aries, for a more unified approach to the conflicts at hand. Mars square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Neptune is partile today, so defenses are more likely to be successful. Leadership becomes stronger as more measured steps are taken noting that Mercury and Mars are in mutual reception.
Sunday April 28th – The Moon in Aquarius is in a sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Jupiter, while Pluto is semi–sextile (30 deg, slightly favorable) to both Jupiter and the Moon. Pluto could act to suppress group activity, especially Pluto in Capricorn, or there could be a massive expression of political preferences. Campaigning and fundraising becomes more urgent and organized. Mars in Gemini is approaching a quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Saturn, as the candidates face tests of popularity and political strength and the process of elimination. The Moon ingress to Pisces late in the day.

Semi-sextile aspects between the Moon and Venus and also between Neptune and Mercury are tempting idealistic promises to attract supporters.
Tuesday April 30th – As speeches become more impassioned with the Mercury–Mars sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) and Mercury also in a square aspect (90 deg, severe) to Saturn, and semi–sextile (30 deg, slightly favorable) to Neptune and the Moon, lines are being drawn about candidates’ appeal. The Moon in a square aspect to Jupiter later in the day favors the compassionate speakers with a large draw of supporters. We move toward the New Moon on May 4th.
