Amplified Purpose at the New Moon – October 23-30 2019

This week the Sun joins Mercury and Venus in the fixed-water sign of Scorpio and the Moon will travel from Leo through Virgo, Libra and Scorpio for the New Moon and on into Sagittarius. Thus, this week contains the seeds of the future soli-lunar cycle that begins on the 27th or 28th depending on your location and time zone. The New Moon at 4 deg Scorpio is a time for activating of natal planets in Scorpio, if you have any there. The New Moon also stands in an opposition aspect to Uranus in Taurus, giving added power for transformation, amplifying the stellium in Scorpio. Mars in a square aspect to Saturn this week as well, culminates at the New Moon. It could be an end to the incessant questioning and demands, arriving at a solution with a formal legal process initiated. Indeed, a breakthrough for investigations of criminality or for transforming personal social-economic situations concerning shared resources.

Wednesday October 23rd – The Moon ingress Virgo and sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to the Sun, at the Sun ingress to Scorpio. For many individuals, this can be a good working aspect, a time when details are attended to in view of a future goal. The Fall harvest season gets underway, academic programs are in full swing. The Moon in Virgo forms a trine aspect to Uranus in Taurus, as time is of the essence. Practical matters are of elevated importance. Venus applies to the sectile aspect with Pluto in Capricorn, as power takes on a friendlier luster.

Thursday October 24th – The Moon in Virgo is in an opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to Neptune in Pisces today, an influence that is often replete with illusions, such as conspiracies and disinformation, as the Moon moves to a trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Saturn in Capricorn, to dispel more illusions or fake reports, slanted views that presuppose an evil mind. Law enforcement gets a boost for actions that help protect the innocent with Venus in Scorpio is in a sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to its dispositorPluto in Capricorn. Scorpio can dig deep into the mind and emotions of the opponent. The Virgo Moon is diligent and, in combination with the Scorpio planets, revealing truth and uncovering corruption is a goal as the Moon forms a trine aspect to Pluto in Capricorn, the battle becomes intense.  

Friday October 25th – As Mars in Libra approaches the square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Saturn in Capricorn, conflicting ideas and policies confuse the audience. The Sun in Scorpio is doubly approaching the opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to Uranus retro in Taurus over the next 3 days, as efforts to bring stability continue to be disrupted. The Moon in Virgo is square aspect to Jupiter in Sagittarius increasing optimism, followed by the sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Mercury in Scorpio for a few hours of intense discussion. The Moon ingress to Libra in the afternoon hours (US times) with an opposition aspect to Chiron.  New plans could now be formulated.

Saturday October 26th –  Demanding more accountability from office holders could be the impact manifested today from Mars in Libra challenging with a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) Saturn in Capricorn.  Only slight reaction with Venus semisextile (30 deg, slightly favorable) to Jupiter in Sag or the Moon semisextile to the Sun. Taken together, the semi-sextile aspect show that there is more energy toward preparation for the initiatives and planned projects that are taking shape now. The Moon transit of Mars overnight could be an indication of violence in the eastern half of the globe, as Mars square aspect to Saturn increases strength., the Moon could trigger action taken as a reaction against a political or military power.

Sunday October 27th – The Moon in Libra moves to a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Pluto in Capricorn, as repression yields a powerful counter-force difficult to contain. The Sun in an opposition aspect (180 deg-polarized) to Uranus also indicates a release of force that is disproportionate in power, such as a consciousness that arouses action in the form of rebellion, uprising or political resistance.

Monday October 28th – A stellium in Scorpio with the New Moon in opposition aspect (180 deg, polarizing) to Uranus, as Mars square aspect to Saturn is partile and more controlled actions in resurrection are taken.  Saturn in Cap is in its domicile is more influential than Mars in Libra, and likely to indicate a legislative action, as Saturn is the planet of authority.  Planned and focused actions initiate the new cycle at the New Moon. –The Moon in Scorpio in a trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Neptune retro in Pisces initiates attempts to discredit legal initiatives (Mars in Libra) in a conflict with authority Saturn, Neptune is quincunx aspect to Mars, by means of dissuasion or denial.  

Tuesday October 29th – The Moon transits to a conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) to Venus and Mercury in Scorpio, with a reassurance for team members, energized and motivated with the stellium of concerted ambition. Finally, the Moon ingress to Sadge, to distribute the message of the New Moon for a grander purpose, forming a trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Chiron and a quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Uranus. While an understanding is reaches with allies, the situation remains fraught with possible error. Mercury and Venus in Scorpio are in a conjunction aspect, for greater unity and emotional backing for stated goals.
