Mars transcends Pluto by mid-day, leaving the fragments of the intense actions behind. Accidental and intentional shootings confound us. Mars, the energy associated with goal direction, may be reacting to submerged psychological problems that emerge forcefully at this time. The strong impact of this conjunction could open fissures into gulfs or transform millions through direct action of a few, as algorithms define or shape our lives. The Sun–Uranus conjunction of last week coincided with the FBI raid (Uranus in Aries) of Trump’s lawyer, collecting computers and hard drives with stored information from years of interactions with his clients. This Mars–Pluto contact has already had an impact, and will continue through the next 2 days. Aggressive (Mars) actions on the part of authorities (Capricorn) will act to implode (Pluto) the process in some way. Capricorn is a sign of receptive (negative) polarity. The events could have a profound effect of the security of a nation, and that would apply to all forms of structures. The USA Gymnastics scandals continue as well. The uncovering of abuse, and issues that were hidden from view, possible violations of the law, continue. The Full Moon on April 29th brings out the full intent of the cycle for healing or sorrow.
Summary of Major Aspects of the Week
Wednesday April 25th – The Moon in Virgo trine to the Sun in Taurus indicates that a grassroots (earth signs) movement is underway. The riots in Nicaragua as well as the protests against rape in India are examples of outrage. Citizens are demanding security (Taurus and earth signs) from their governments denoted by Saturn in Capricorn. As the grand trine with Saturn, Moon and the Sun is in effect through today, this becomes more obvious. The ease of firearm acquisition is a major issue, as well as actions of a repressive and more selectively exclusive government. The issues are counter-productive as they collide in impact. The big news of the day is described by the impact of Mars–Pluto conjunction in Capricorn. Pluto often represses before undergoing a transformation. Hostages releases as well as deadly attacks are likely.
Thursday April 26th – The Moon in Virgo in opposition (180 deg, tense) to Neptune early in the day could release dreams and illusions before the trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Pluto and Mars in Capricorn. The drama intensifies. The Moon moves into Libra where it opposes Chiron and will be trine to Venus to add a bit of wisdom and sweetener to the day. Friendly discussions take place as the Moon and Venus are in air signs. Lover’s quarrels are on the mend with Chiron in an opposition aspect to the Moon, as controversy is muted for now.
Friday April 27th – Things may not be as bad as they were initially feared. The Sun in Taurus and Moon in Libra relate in a quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex), both in signs ruled by Venus. Venus in Gemini, ruled by Mercury helps to resolve the issues, the difficulty in relating to the social and personal modes can be somewhat modified by the strong mercurial influence. Conversations lead to understanding one another from a new vantage point. The Moon in Libra is then in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Saturn and quickly opposes (180 deg, polarity) Mercury in Aries as we try to comprehend the shape of the legal battles taking place. In Libra the Moon tries to adjust to balance the pros and cons, and to justify legal decisions. While seeming to vacillate, there is usually a decision reached once the issue is analyzed with Moon in Libra.
Saturday April 28th – As the Moon triggers the Pluto-Mars conjunction (0 deg, merging) in Capricorn with a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) from Libra, the cardinal signs are activated. What takes place is a clash between the structural powers, i.e., judicial powers, and individual plaintiffs. Tradition (Saturn) is the path of least resistance, but is challenged (Mercury in Aires) successfully, as Mars is at the focal point of the configuration (T–square) formed with Pluto, so that revolutionary decisions are taken now. A legal battle may be prolonged, as the judiciary (Capricorn) itself is undergoing a transformation (Pluto). Uranus in Aries is opposed by the Moon late in the day, just an hour before the Moon leaves Libra, as though a final chance to express the revolutionary spirit of Uranus to carry into the more sedentary sign of Taurus.

Sunday April 29th – The Moon in Scorpio delves deeply into our passionate side, and will enjoy the Full Moon expression in the evening hours. A study of admissions for psychiatric emergencies using scientific analysis found a decrease in anxiety during a 12-hour Full Moon segment of the study, however an increase in personality disorders. https://www.hindawi.com/journals/isrn/2014/398791/ The widely held opinion that the Full Moon increases incidences of trauma has not been justified. However, the type or display of disorders seems to increase as observed and reported by health care workers. That is there are more incidences of really bizarre behavior during the Full Moon. The Full Moon allows for expression in a way that is more obvious, yet has a calming effect on many patients. During this Full Moon, Saturn is in a trine aspect to the Sun. As Saturn is a stabilizing influence we could feel more secure for now. Ceres holds a focal point at the Full Moon. Ceres in Leo demonstrates pride in sharing and achieving compromise.
Monday April 30th – The Moon is conjunct to Jupiter today, as well feel pride in achievement, or at least more satisfaction with personal relations. We can share generously with those who are less fortunate and not deplete our own worth. The Moon trine aspect (120 deg, easy) Neptune opens the avenues of compassion and a feeling of universal connection. The Moon then forms a sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Pluto and Mars in Capricorn, as implementation of agreements goes forward. Ketu (the North Lunar Node) conjunct to Ceres in Leo reinforces the connection with growth and care for future generations.
Tuesday May 1st– The Moon quincunx aspect (120 deg, complex) to Uranus today gives a sense of creativity and possibility rather than actual results. Venus in quincunx aspect to Saturn as well, denoting another shifting relationship between generations (Saturn) or relations to authorities. Algorithms that affect our personalities and inter-relations seem to be in flux. This can result in unexpected gain or advantage. The Moon enters Sagittarius with a trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Chiron. A sense of well being is connected to a realization that the direction taken avoided past errors. Later in the day, the Moon forms a trine aspect to Ceres and is in opposition to Venus in Gemini allowing us to celebrate fulfillment of ideals.
