While the Moon is in Scorpio on January 10th, cozy with Jupiter and Mars, sextile to the Sun, Venus and Pluto in Capricorn, the Moon in Capricorn by the 16th stirs up the residue. Saturn, the task-maker in Capricorn will program you if you cannot program your life. With the stellium in Capricorn distinction and status are highlighted. Everyone must be integrated (Jupiter), if not Saturn will find a place for you. The negative side of Saturn is the power that descends on the unrighteous. The positive side gives us focus and strength, a purpose and structure. Making progress in the good is the defense of the penitent. Temptations abound to deceive the unwary. Uranus embedded in Aries after turning direct is moving very slowly. It will finally leave its station at the end of January. A transformation is underway. Cling to righteousness and justice, and redemption is surly yours. It’s not enough just to download the program you also have to format it to work on your OS. Even those Aquarians among us need to format in order to succeed. Yellah!
Wednesday January 10th – The exposure of harassment and abuse particularized in the #MeToo campaign coincides with Jupiter in Scorpio. The Moon now in Scorpio transits the Jupiter–Mars conjunction today, as evening prime-time gets underway. With Mars sextile to the Sun the #TimesUp companion campaign reverberates. There is great solidarity demonstrated here with Pluto conjunct (0 deg on the longitude measure) the Sun and Venus in Capricorn. This amazing revelation and transformation marks significant social change in America, if not the world as a whole. Mercury enters Capricorn as the message becomes clear.
Thursday January 11th – The Moon transit of Mars and sextile to the Sun and Venus on its way to the New Moon on January 16th (US times). Don’t lose sight of your goals. The Moon in trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Chiron and quincunx (150 deg, challenging) to Uranus, unites the inner power to receive guidance from those who have suffered, and avoid the explosive issues, too close at hand. Victims of oppression speak out. Mercury approaches Saturn in Cap, as authorities will take control or actually admit faults of past transgressions, clearing the way for the new day on the horizon.
Friday January 12th – The Moon in Sagittarius acts a mediator as we try to process the events of the week. At last, making clear judgments will show that there is a way to settle disagreements. Jupiter is sextile to Pluto today (60 deg, working trine) able to dig deeply into the cultural past. Resources may become more balanced as a result of the catharsis underway now. That catharsis (Pluto) with the Sun–Venus–Pluto conjunction in Capricorn was centered in the 6th House for West Coast viewers (Seattle to LA and south). Here the acceptance of the #TimesUp initiative to help with legal support for women fighting sexual harassment and gender wage disparity as well as promoting women in leadership positions is active in the work place. On the East Coast (ie: Washington, DC New England to Florida) the planets in Capricorn were centered in the 5th House of entertainment. As we move forward we can see if the response on the West Coast is more progressive.
Saturday January 13th – Venus and the Sun moving ahead in Cap, leaving Pluto behind, forms a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) in a challenge for leadership. The road is long to the next Presidential election, however, and many decisions must be make along the way. Mars in Scorpio sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) to the Sun and Venus could provide impetus, however. With a strong emotional backing, some women may feel called to vie for position of leadership. Leadership is vital for improving the status of women. The Moon in Sagittarius makes a trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Uranus in Aries, as dreams are initiated or even empowered. Jupiter in Scorpio is sextile to Pluto in Cap, expanding on the cultural shift and empowering the future.
Sunday January 14th –With Jupiter sextile (60 deg, working) Pluto today, the glow continues. Then the Moon conjuncts Saturn in Capricorn with a colder feeling, as limitations and realistic concerns are voiced to counter dreams of leadership and success for women. Scorpio and Capricorn are receptive signs, whereas Sag and Aquarius are aggressive in nature. Mars sextile aspect to the Sun and Venus works to keep those dreams alive. Ceres in Leo is the dispositor of the Sun in Cap, and the only transiting body retrograde now, shows a dramatic career to evolve. The field of entertainment seems more realistic with greater openness and proposed changes.
Monday January 15th – Professional consultations are underway, career moves planned and objectives are made clear, as progress and opportunities are open in many career fields. School curriculums may have advanced studies in the past, yet opportunities were limited by gender as well as economic status. Ceres is the feminine counterpart of Chiron. As such, the goddess of agriculture and protector of women signifies a transformation in the retrograde phase in Leo, the sign of dramatic expression, as young women and girls see their future opportunities expand. The Moon transits Saturn and Mercury today in Capricorn, as six planets in all are gathered in the one sign.
Tuesday January 16th – The New Moon phase exact (see above chart image) this evening in Capricorn could mark then a new understanding for the structural organization of institutions. A surge in recognition of talent and intellect rather than gender, as equality becomes a goal. This marks a revolution in policy and conformity. The reduction of limitations imposed influences the social structure of the future. Mars in Scorpio in a quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Uranus in Aries is a challenge for the dominant leadership of the nation.
