The new Moon in Scorpio on November 4th coincides with a noteworthy event, as Uranus is in partile opposition. Venus ingress to Capricorn is the following day, November 5th. The Global summit on climate change is poised to indicate big changes in the way we create and use energy commercially and personal energy use. Renewable energy sources are proposed to combat global warming. This necessity has been foreseen for decades, but was largely unheeded. The hope is to reverse the damage done to the atmosphere and water of the planet. Mercury transits into Scorpio on the 5th, the sign of regeneration.
Summary of Major Aspects of the Week
Wednesday November 3rd — The Moon in Libra is trine aspect to Jupiter in Aquarius early today. The Sun in Scorpio is within orb of the opposition aspect to Uranus in Taurus. The Moon is then square aspect to Pluto in Capricorn and followed by the Moon’s conjunction aspect with Mercury in Libra. World leaders discuss the future of the planet. The summit meetings are an indication of the ever more integrated world, as world-views align with science (Pluto in Cap). Differences of opinion are expressed however, as Mercury in Libra tries to balance opinions, while the Moon in a harsh aspect to Pluto represents strategic conflicts, even compulsive rejection of participant’s desires. The Moon ingress to Scorpio in the afternoon or evening (depending on location on the planet). The Moon makes a conjunction aspect with Mars in Scorpio to set off compulsive arguments.
Thursday November 4th — The new Moon in an opposition aspect to Uranus in Taurus in the afternoon US time zones, and late evening in Europe, could electrify the world with shocking or unexpected events. The economies are affected, and the Moon square aspect to Saturn in Aquarius indicates an emotional reaction to the limitations proposed to reduce the atmospheric pollutants that are shown to cause climate change. Disasters may be averted if more caution is applied. Venus ingress to Capricorn late in the day, disposed of by Saturn in Aquarius sextile aspect to Mercury in Libra indicates intense work to smooth over disagreements and reach an acceptable outcome to events. The Moon trine aspect to Neptune indicates a flow of support offered to developing countries. Late in the day, the Moon in a square aspect to Jupiter indicates collective action or commitment to action.
Friday November 5th — Tensions ease today, with the Moon square aspect to Jupiter but sextile aspect to Pluto, more cooperation can be expected. Mercury in Libra is disposed of by Venus in Capricorn, then Mercury transits into Scorpio, disposed of by Pluto in Cap. We are more likely to participate in unifying causes, such as preparing for a future of reduced carbon omissions. At the Mercury ingress to Scorpio the Moon transits to ingress Sagittarius. The shared beliefs of a more efficient life-style begin to change policies.
Saturday November 6th — The Moon in Sadge is sextile aspect to Saturn in Aquarius. Idealistic plans are made to limit the carbon footprint of the nations. The Moon then is trine aspect to Chiron in Aries, with more assistance for realistic planning, then opposition aspect to Ceres in Gemini, as younger folks feel the pinch. Mercury in Scorp and a sextile aspect to Venus in Cap helps to swallow the bitter pill with soothing words. The Moon in a quincunx aspect to Uranus retro in Taurus could indicate that we need to juggle faith with unsetting realities.
Sunday November 7th — The co-operation between nations has never been better than at the Glasgow Climate Change Conference. The planets Mercury in Scorpio and Venus in Capricorn in a sextile aspect indicate a deepening commitment. Jupiter in Aquarius is approaching a semi-sextile aspect with Pluto in Capricorn, as differences on other issues are set aside. Mars in Scorpio is approaching the square aspect to Saturn in Aquarius, becoming partile on November 11th. As the Glasgow Climate Change Conference closes on November 12th, conflicts are sure to accelerate. The Moon ingress to Capricorn overnight, making a conjunction aspect with Venus as the Glasgow conference gains credibility.
Monday November 8th — The Moon in Capricorn is sextile aspect to Mars in Scorpio early today. Legal issues concerning marriage and parental obligations surface, as the Moon is semi-sextile to Saturn in Aquarius and then square aspect to Chiron in Aries. A trine aspect from the Moon to Uranus retro in Taurus for proposals to change the status quo, reversing traditions. The Moon is sextile aspect to the Sun in Scorpio by mid-day, or Tuesday morning in the eastern hemisphere, and Mercury in Scorpio approaches the conjunction aspect with Mars. Passionate speech could encourage agreements.
Tuesday November 9th — The Moon in Capricorn is in a conjunction aspect with Pluto and semi-sextile to Jupiter, as powerful offices undergo a change in focus. Positions of status are required to adapt to the socially accepted scientific principles. Mars in Scorpio square aspect to Saturn in Aquarius gains strength. Aggressive limitations are imposed.
