The Moon transit of Leo, Virgo, Libra and ingress to Scorpio this week awakens a social involvement as we head into the Fall season. A stellium in Virgo from the 29th when Mercury joins with Venus, Mars and the Sun in the mutable-earth sign Virgo. The stellium is sustained past the New Moon on the 30th and over the next two weeks. This is an opportune time to work out details of an agenda, or a plan for the fiscal year for school or business. With a trine aspect to Uranus from the New Moon on the 30th, the path ahead becomes clear. The necessary components for the plan are prepared for implementation.
Summary of Major Aspects of the Week
Wednesday August 28th – The Sun and Mars in Virgo are trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Uranus retro in Taurus, as we are inclined to forge ahead with necessary work agendas with the realization that virtue depends on action. In the balsamic lunar phase (less than 45 deg before the New Moon), we prepare for the coming cycle of events. Action may be delayed at this planning stage. It is not idle waiting, however. There are details to be worked out. With the force (Uranus) on our side (trine aspect), the details will fall into place. The Moon in Leo moves to a trine aspect to Jupiter in Sagittarius, expanding the anticipation for success and bringing plans to fruition. A simultaneous quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Saturn in Capricorn from the Moon, warns for caution to be applied. The process must develop step by step. Mercury ingress to Virgo carries out analysis and process necessary for the favorable results. A quincunx aspect to Pluto from the Moon follows and the most powerful test is applied.
Thursday August 29th – We feel compelled to continue on a path of transformation with the Sun in the trine (120 deg, flowing) aspect to Uranus still in effect. Events speed forward as Mars in Virgo opens new vistas, rejecting caution in all haste. A stellium in Virgo with Mercury and the Moon joining the Sun, Mars and Venus, in this mercurial sign, as critics and analysts have a field day. Being obsessed for perfection in the details we may miss the forest of the whole. Nervous energy could undermine calm procedural development.

August 30, 2019
Friday August 30th – The New Moon (see image above) at 10:38 GMT is in a conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) to Mars in Virgo, and makes a trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Uranus in Taurus. The chart of the New Moon indicates the energies that will unfold during the lunation cycle. The intense action indicated in earth signs, manifest as fires burning the Amazon forests, an area considered by scientists to be vital for weather systems, and could affect air flow and rainfall worldwide. The Sun, Moon and six planets are now in earth signs. This is a strong indication that we need to attend to the earth, its atmosphere and natural resources. The rapid destruction by fire is one indication of the chronic problems that result from lack of implementation of environmentally sound practices of farming, mining, and manufacturing industries. Uranus in Taurus over the next decade indicates the increase in environmental dangers. Mars trine aspect to Uranus denotes a rapidly deteriorating situation. The Moon conjunct aspect to Mars and Venus raises the alarm. Environmentally aware Ceres in Sagittarius is in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to the New Moon degree in Virgo, and quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Uranus in Taurus. These aspects require action, while the trine aspect flows on its own. The quincunx aspect requires innovation. The generations who are to manage the world in the future are the generations that are most affected. The Moon in a trine aspect to Saturn late in the day brings assistance and relief. The trine aspect to Pluto follows with a hint of transformation. Chiron in Aries is in a trine aspect to Ceres, so we can expect outrage and action from the youth sector. The Moon opposition aspect to Neptune in Pisces indicates sympathy for the loss and the lost, but also dreams and anxiety.
Saturday August 31st – The Moon transits into Libra with a sense of a new era dawning. Venus in Virgo, the despositor of the Moon, makes a trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Saturn in Capricorn igniting action on a practical level. Mercury is the dispositor of all the planets in Virgo, and in its own sign, clear orders are given. Mercury is in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Ceres and quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Chiron in Aries. The youthful generations are motivated to advance life-saving measures to assure future sustainability. Venus moves to a square aspect to Jupiter in Sagittarius as enthusiasm is generated. The Moon opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to Chiron in Aries and quincunx aspect to Uranus mandates agreements to calm violence in the eastern hemisphere (nighttime USA).
Sunday September 1st – Mercury in Virgo is trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Uranus in Taurus while the Sun in Virgo is in a conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) with Mars, as pressure is applied to combat the fires and the violence. Venus in Virgo continues to be enhanced by the square aspect (90 deg, sharp) to Jupiter in Sagittarius, and with Mercury trine aspect to Uranus in Taurus, for implementing on the ground activities that have a long-range outcome. The Moon in Libra is in a balancing act, with a square aspect to Saturn in Capricorn and a sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) to Jupiter in Sagittarius. Confrontations with authorities could be mitigated with legal processes, and Venus trine aspect to Saturn in the morning (Asian time zones) could be bring reason to the conflicts, as Venus in Virgo could intervene in disputes as negotiations begin, with the Moon square aspect to Pluto in Cap the deepest concerns are addressed, such as fears of a revolution.
Monday September 2nd – Venus in Virgo moves ahead of Mercury, Mars and Sun conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) in the same sign of service and detail. Venus is in an exact square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Jupiter, for tough- love relations. Caring for a loved one, or community service could be required. The Moon ingress to Scorpio in the afternoon hours (or evening and night in Europe and the eastern hemisphere) are good for sharing time with partners and family. Unexpected benefits or revelations (Moon in Scorpio in an opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to the Uranus in Taurus could change attitudes.
Tuesday September 3rd – Unity among coworkers could help in labor relations to resolve issues with management, as Mercury is in a close conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) with Mars and the Sun in Virgo. The democratic voice speaks loudly. Venus moves to an opposition aspect (180 deg, polarized) to Neptune in Pisces. As Neptune is the higher octave of Venus, there could be a coordinated to resolve the difficulties of the oppressed migrants or the homeless population. Some health issues, especially related to addiction, could be given priority.
