Uranus’ Impact at the Full Moon – July 29 – August 5 2020

The Moon in Sagittarius on Wednesday, is making a grandtrine in fire signs with Chiron in Aries and the Sun in Leo, bringing attention the political maneuverings in the final days the summer session of Congress.  Finalized deal on an economic impact package is likely to be announced with the grand-trine influence, speeding up the economy, brightening the future for many who are heavily impacted. Opinions oppose establishment actions, while empathizing with demands for change in police policies.  This may be the majority, while police are villainized, as Jupiter separates from Pluto in Capricorn.  Friday, with the Moon in Capricorn, signifies a calmer aura. Saturday, however, would be a volatile day, as the Moon ignites Mars in Aries with a square aspect, and continues to transit Jupiter and Pluto, as fresh conflicts are stirred up. The Moon in a conjunction aspect with Saturn on Saturday brings a respite or a cease-fire agreement. The Full Moon on Aug 3rd has Uranus in Taurus mediating at the focal point. Taurus is a domain of centripetal force, drawing inward, and an earth sign of material/financial concerns.

Summary of Major Aspects of the Week

Wednesday July 29th – Legislative actions go smoothly this morning, with the Moon in Sagittarius trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to the Sun in prideful Leo, as the legislature is meeting this obligation. The Moon moves to a trine aspect with Chiron in Aries.  A fortunate grand-trine configuration is a possibility for some folks with planets in the fire signs.  There is a tendency to grandstand or filibuster with this aspect. Venus in Gemini is quincunx aspect (150 deg, difficult) to Pluto in Cap, a possible manipulative side-step could derail actions (maybe a veto).  Mercury in Cancer is in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Mars in Aries while the Moon is quincunx aspect to Uranus In Taurus. A strong backlash could prompt reversals.

Thursday July 30th – The Moon in Sagittarius is trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Mars in Aries, allowing actions that follow swiftly to initiate the goals, the laws and commands. Mercury in Cancer is trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Neptune in Pisces. Supportive measures are helpful to communicate the position of the movement for reform. Jupiter retro sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) to Neptune retro signals overwhelming support for the disadvantaged.

Friday July 31st –  The Moon ingress to Capricorn early today speaks for business acuity. Be prepared to meet the opposing side in a conflict. Later in the day, the Moon is in a quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to the Sun in Leo and forms a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Chiron retro in Aries. An emotional appeal is met with an opponent’s stronger position, as the Sun is trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Chiron. However, with the Sun approaching the square aspect to Uranus, the outcome could be amazing as the Moon makes a trine aspect to Uranus overnight.

Saturday August 1st – With Mercury in Cancer in a partile opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to Pluto in Capricorn, the Moon prepares for the transit over the positions of Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn all in retro motion, in Capricorn. The retrograde motion does not negate the properties we ascribe to the planets, but turns the impact inward. Thereby, the outward effect has less of an impact. We in the US, in Israel and China, at least, area going through a process of re-negotiating the reigns of power.  The power is not diminished, only re-organized, and directed inward, conducive to reform. The Moon is in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Mars in Aries, calling into question the impulsive actions of the Mars aggressiveness. The Moon, in a conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) to Jupiter in Capricorn, could signify a court injunction that squelches police actions.  Mercury opposition aspect with Pluto reveals the inner process of power centers, as secret documents could be released now. Neptune in a sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Jupiter and the Moon, and Venus quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Pluto modify the impact of the rulings to become less than absolute.

Sunday August 2nd – The Moon in Capricorn pushes back with a reality check, opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to Mercury in Cancer, and quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Venus in Gemini to garner support.  The Moon meets Saturn with the conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) as a ruling becomes publicized. The continuing Sun square aspect to Uranus, (90 deg, harsh) confirms that these are indeed revolutionary times. The revolution is an internalizing process (retrograde planets in Capricorn). Decisions that impact the future of the governments that rule are now made by courts or dictators. The Moon ingress to Aquarius late in the day.

Full Moon in Aquarius
Aug 3, 2020

Monday August 3rd –  The Full Moon in Aquarius is in square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Uranus in Taurus. During this implosion of power (JupiterPlutoSaturn retro in Cap), realizing self-care in the medical field and citizens taking responsibility for government decisions are two outcomes of the year. Personal responsibility for protection from the disease of the pandemic and personal responsibility for police reform constitute the true revolution (Uranus).  Mars in Aries is also square aspect to Jupiter in Cap. Social volatility becomes institutionalized, or inflamed as a gathering of protestors increases. Mercury in Cancer is in an opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to Saturn in Cap. If the POTUS intends to resign, this would be a perfect time as Pluto is in opposition aspect to his natal Saturn in Cancer, while natal Venus is in opposition to the midpoint of the transiting Jupiter-Pluto. He may instead execute a presidential veto or other executive emergency actions.

Tuesday August 4th –  In the disseminating phase of the lunar cycle, with the Moon in Aquarius, new alliances may be formed with shared ideals.  Mars in Aries is in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Jupiter in Capricorn, as individual expansion may be rejected for the greater good and social justice. The Moon in a trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Venus in Gemini, allows for adjustments in certain circumstances of hardship, with Venus in a quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Saturn in CapVenus in Gemini is in a conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) to Rahu, the north lunar node, and Mercury, the dispositor of Venus ingress to Leo, as we look forward with a more positive view and hopeful attitude.
