Summary of Major Aspects of the Week
Wednesday December 18th – The Moon in Virgo makes an opposition aspect (180 deg, polarized) to Neptune early in the day, and then is trine aspect to Saturn in Capricorn, sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) to Mars in Scorpio. The images that we receive from the collective consciousness (Neptune) are transformed by Saturn into concrete actions, with passionate Mars contributing to the final product. The Moon moves to a trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Pluto with the strike of the gavel. Government decisions are finalized. The Moon makes a trine aspect to Venus overnight in the US, for satisfaction of the achievements. In the UK and the eastern hemisphere, adjustments are made to accommodate the actions of the government on the morning of the 19th.
Thursday December 19th – The Moon in Libra is in an opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to Chiron in Aries and quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Uranus. Actions taken are likely to be impulsive (Uranus), rejecting the voice of wisdom (Chiron). If wisdom is heeded, there could be a profound realization as a result. Mercury square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Neptune as attempts to rationalize the irrational proceed, while Mars in Scorpio is in a sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) to Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn gives a sense of inevitability. At the Venus ingress to Aquarius late in the day, hope for the future is engendered.
Friday December 20th – The Moon in Libra forms a quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Neptune in Pisces disrupting expectations as the Moon moves to make square aspects (90 deg, harsh) to Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn. The Moon sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) to Mercury in Sagittarius helps to balance the political with humanitarian ideals, reinforcing the Mercury square aspect to Neptune of Thursday. New theories are spun to support fears of a collapsing power structure (Saturn and Pluto in Cap).
Saturday December 21st – The Moon is sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to the Sun prior to its ingress to Scorpio in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Venus in Aquarius, an opposition aspect (180 deg, polarizing) to Uranus in Taurus, thus forming a T-square configuration, with Venus in Aquarius as the focal point. Venus square aspect to Uranus endures as the Moon moves forward. Venus is disposed of by Uranus in the sign Aquarius, while Uranus is disposed of by Venus, a mutual reception. Uranus could be a harsh critic of policy concerning basic systems we depend on. Financial institutions become vulnerable if unable to adjust to new regulations. Revolutionary forces (Uranus) could impact the overall stability, yet there are enlightened (Venus) measures to modify the impact. The Sun ingress to Capricorn after mid-day, when more practical measures are taken to avoid a deteriorating situation. Saturn approaches the conjunction with Pluto, the impending impact is now writ large.
Sunday December 22nd – The Venus–Uranus mutual reception continues to impact our concepts of a viable future, and today the Moon in Scorpio forms a trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Neptune in Pisces, diluting resources, as a sense of emergency continues. Mars in Scorpio forms a sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Pluto in Capricorn. The actions taken in co-ordination affect dramatically the fate of many nations. The Moon transit of Mars triggers the direct actions that impact the power center of governing institutions, as Saturn limits the ability for the said institutions to initiate a response. The result is then an implosion of some magnitude. The Moon– Mars conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) happens at 10:20 PM EST in the US, although the actual trigger could be 1-2 hours prior. There could be an attempted coup, or other blow to the administration, perhaps a message from Kim arrives.
Monday December 23rd – With the Sun in Capricorn and a trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Uranus in Taurus, while also in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Chiron in Aries, accompanies an awakening of sorts to uncomfortable realities. Yet, Jupiter in Sadge and Venus in Aquarius are semi-sextile aspect (30 deg, supportive) in a friendly arrangement of necessity. This provides some protection to the wounded represented by Saturn and Pluto in Cap. Very stressful events are followed by an urgency to prevent further decay. The Moon ingress to Sadge, is followed by a trine aspect to Chiron and sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Venus. The Sun approaching the conjunction aspect (0deg, combining) to Jupiter helps to encourage holiday cheer.
Tuesday December 24th – The Sun trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Uranus in earth signs continues today, as the Sun in Capricorn approaches the conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) to Jupiter. There could be now the introduction of transforming elements in the holiday. Gifts and visitors arrive with holiday cheer. The Moon in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Neptune warns of too much physical or emotional stress. Avoid imbibing drinks that inebriate or food that is unhealthy. The Moon transits Mercury late in the day, as conversations turn to current events, and the Moon is semi-sextile (30 deg, mildly advantageous) to Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn.
