As the Moon in Taurus is in a disseminating phase, where the current cycle beginning with the New Moon of September 27th, and the events leading up to the Full Moon of October 13, come into focus and we can share the experience with others on social media perhaps, or in writing or speaking to friends and colleagues. Word gets around. Change is in the air. Uranus retro in Taurus is a raging bull ready to charge, yet being held back in the retrograde phase of the Uranus cycle. Uranus turns direct motion on January 12th at 2 deg Taurus. The Moon traverses Gemini Thursday and Friday making aspects to Mars and the Sun and opposition aspect to Jupiter and Ceres, and will on Sunday make a grand-trine in water signs and an opposition to Saturn in Capricorn for an eventful week that could be a game changer.
Summary of Major Aspects of the Week
Wednesday October 16th – As Biden’s son Hunter has resigned from the board of a Chinese firm, the efforts by Trump to vilify him have been squelched, while questions of his own children’s business connections remain, during this transit of the Moon through Taurus (financial holdings) and the Sun in Libra (balance). Trump’s removal of US forces from northern Syria, however, is irreversible as damage and deaths mount. The US administration is now seen more unreliable than ever. The Moon is void-of-course today at 4:38 AM with the Moon in a trine aspect to Pluto until 10:31 PM EDT with the Moon ingress to Gemini. It would be unwise to initiate new ventures during this time as the ability to learn new details is impaired. Confusion could lead to false moves. Thus most of the day is spent considering the next move. Overnight action could be initiated.

Thursday October 17th – Action taken now would be difficult to maintain in balance. The Moon in a trine aspect to Mars is the first major aspect after the void-of-course Moon. Aggressive actions (Mars) could be mitigated by the sign Libra, or balance could be greatly upset. The Moon is trine aspect to Mars (120 deg, flowing) at about 2 PM EDT. Action taken is swift. Saturn in Capricorn is sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to the midpoint of Venus and Mercury in Scorpio, limiting or suppressing critical comments. Mercury approaches the sextile aspect with Pluto at 20 deg Cap, as final assessments are made. The action may not be nuclear, but destruction will surely follow.
Friday October 18th – A Yod formation manifests early in the day (US time zones) with the Moon in Gemini quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to both Pluto in Capricorn and Mercury in Scorpio. Mercury is disposed of by Pluto, as transformative actions are implemented. Could there be a silver lining for some actors in the scheme? The Moon in an opposition aspect to Jupiter for follow-up regrouping of supporters. The Moon trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to the Sun late in the day indicating that settlements could now be made.
Saturday October 19th – The Moon ingress to Cancer early in the day is followed by the square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Chiron in Aries, as deeper assessments are made. A sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Uranus retro in Taurus follows, so that redress may be muted, preserving some respect. However, the Moon then moves to the square aspect to Mars overnight, with some harsh reality inflicted.
Sunday October 20th – The Moon in Cancer forms a grand-trine (three planets in 120 deg aspect) with Neptune in Pisces and Venus in Scorpio. Neptune, the higher octave of Venus, offers a chance to elevate the discourse. The Moon in an opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to Capricorn, indicates a challenge to government officials who could take any exit offered. Venus in Scorpio is also sextile aspect ( 60 deg, friendly) to Saturn in Cap, making the exit somewhat easier. It could be face-saving efforts that win in the end. The Moon in a trine aspect to Mercury in Scorpio and quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Jupiter and Ceres in Sagittarius and then a follow-up with an opposition aspect to Pluto indicates the probability that a realignment is achieved.
Monday October 21st – The Moon in Cancer and in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to the Sun in Libra for the 3rd quarter Moon phase, efforts to strike a balance may have been successful. Then the Moon ingress to Leo, with a trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Chiron and a square aspect to Uranus retro. Pride takes the stage, and may spin some alternative reality.
Tuesday October 22nd – Mars and Moon are sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) early in the day, with coordinated actions. Ceres completes the conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) to Jupiter in Sagittarius as the increased call from younger generations for preservation of the environment and demands for greater measures to be taken by government policies (Jupiter is semi-sextile -30 deg, gives a push- to Pluto and also to the midpoint of Venus and Mercury in Scorpio). The Moon in a quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Venus in Scorpio, could now initiate warnings, as the Sun in the last degree of Libra begins seeks a transformation.
