Search for Structural Balance – September 23- 30 2020

From the equinox forward, new issues have upset the environmental and political balance. With the Moon in Sagittarius, the court system is a focus. Mercury in Libra is in opposition aspect to Mars retro in Aries, and we are rushing to review the past to realign the future. Saturn square aspect to the planets in opposition aspect, makes a T-square, while the Moon moves to a trine aspect with Uranus. The passing of an iconic figure, although not totally unexpected, highlights the delicate balance of the socio-political world. The surge in Covid-19 cases worldwide exceeds all expectations. A lockdown in some nations and communities, highlights health issues. Air quality is now a concern for most of the western states in the US, while smoke from the fires is reported to have reached Europe. Libra is an air sign; the balance is not easy to maintain. The first quarter Moon phase on Sept 23-4 also denotes a crisis in the making. The Moon ingress to Capricorn gives a stellium in the sign of the Mountain Goat. New assessments are made for the final phase of the race for leadership.
