Mars ingress to Taurus occurs on Thursday the 14th – while the Moon in Gemini in an opposition aspect to Jupiter in Sagittarius. Practical matters are to be considered with a goal for more stability. Increases in debt with the square aspect to Neptune, are balanced with gains from foreign investments. Chiron enters the sign Aries on Monday preceding the Sun ingress to Pisces on Tuesday. Trailblazers lead the way, while inner wisdom offers a voice of encouragement. With three planets in Pisces – Sun, Mercury and Neptune, awareness of the endings of old habits and arrangements anticipates a revival of energy for reform. Sweeping reforms for redirection can be implemented with Saturn and Venus square aspect to Neptune and Mercury. Mercury is conjunct Neptune on Monday and Tuesday, as the very source of discord is uncovered. The Full Moon on the 19th as Moon in Virgo tells all.
Summary of Major Aspects of the Week
Wednesday February 13th – The Moon is in Gemini today and will be in a square aspect (90 deg, hard) to Mercury in Pisces and quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Venus in Capricorn. The Moon is reflexive while Mercury is a rather neutral in Pisces would be accumulating and diffusing information that is non-biased. The Moon in Gemini could spin that information to advantage. Exposing private communications are again the cause of media reports that could be explosive.
Thursday February 14th – Overnight, or in the morning in Asia, Africa, Mid-East and Europe, the Moon is in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Neptune in Pisces. One may disregard emotional responses to his or her peril. This could lead to broken hearts on this Valentines’ Day. Surprising your sweetheart with thoughtful words or gifts could also fulfill the aspect bringing tears or smiles. Mars enters the fixed– earth sign Taurus, as indicating stubbornness in holding to goals. This may be a new goal for greater gain or for gaining empathy and support. The Moon reaches an opposition point (180 deg, conflict) to Jupiter in Sagittarius, Thas could sway positions by the prospect of gain. Votes are being counted to avert another partial shutdown of the US Government. The opposition aspect shifts from a push to a pull and back again. In avoiding this, progress could be made.
Friday February 15th – While Chiron is in a square aspect (90 deg, sharp) to the Moon, the sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Uranus and Mars on the cusp of Taurus could hold the treat of a shutdown as a means to push forward needed laws for repairing procedural issues and government continuity. Jupiter is conjunct (0 deg, combining) aspect to Pres. Trump’s natal Moon, so that he may feel a benefit in clearing the way for a partial victory even in defeat. The transiting Sun in Aquarius opposes (180 deg, conflict) his natal Mars in Leo, and Pluto opposes his natal Saturn in Cancer. I think he will be forced to seek a way out. The Moon enters Cancer sextile to Mars as the wheels keep turning.
Saturday February 16th – The Moon in Cancer is in an opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to the planets in Capricorn – Venus, Saturn and Pluto, the heavy weights of the zodiac. This is a polarized situation, even as Venus in Cap allows for more inter-relationship discussions. We have more women in the US Congress, some are young and newly elected. Venus represents this group in Capricorn, a masterful sign of authority. Saturn is in his own sign (Capricorn) symbolizes the power structure. Pluto is the underlying depth of power that looks to the distant past and future. The Moon is also in her own sign of Cancer, and holds the power symbols- the planets in Capricorn – in check, and thus to humanize the actions of the forces that would be able to implement laws that are insensitive to the rights of the individual and minorities. This polarization could work to transform the legality of actions that harm the nation(s).
Sunday February 17th – The Moon is quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to the Sun in Aquarius defies pride with the unanticipated plead. The Moon then transits to the cusp of Leo in a square aspect (90 deg, sharp) to Uranus and Mars, initiating actions that depend on ingenuity (Uranus in Aries) as well as material gain (Mars in Taurus). Venus closes in on a conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) with Saturn in Cap, as the influence of women and minorities paves the way for a more humanistic government.
Monday February 18th – Venus supersedes Saturn today as the role of authorities becomes better defined. Parental rights and obligations as well as the role of government in protecting citizens at risk become a focus. The Moon in Leo makes a quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Mercury and Neptune in Pisces and is also quincunx to Saturn and Venus in Capricorn forming a Yod. Saturn and Venus are sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Mercury and Neptune. Overcoming differences and biases, we can work together now to reach a common goal for the common good of humanity. Mars in Taurus is disposed of by Venus in Capricorn, and Venus is disposed of by Saturn, a final dispositor. The Moon in Leo is disposed of by the Sun in Aquarius as it moves into humanitarian Pisces.

Tuesday February 19th – The Full Moon is at the first degree of Virgo in opposition aspect (180 deg, polarizing) to the Sun at the 1st degree of Pisces. Those individuals with planets in Virgo and/or Pisces in their natal charts will feel activated. The Moon in a trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Uranus and Mars helps put individual efforts where it will initiate progressive reforms. Savings and investments become a priority. The Moon [see image above] is in a quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Chiron as guidance is sought for health (Moon) and Investment. Humanitarian concerns are exploding worldwide as a more universal approach to health and welfare is advised. The Moon is disposed of by Mercury and Mercury is disposed of by Neptune – a final dispositor– with the strong Neptune in conjunction aspect with Mercury. Choosing the most humanistic option becomes the hopeful outcome to avoid a precipitous fall.
