The night of June 27th is the Full Moon, visible in the US before midnight, early morning on the 28th in Europe and the Eastern hemisphere. The crisis of the 1st quarter Moon comes into full bloom. The immigration issue, that DJT used to try to force Congress to act, has reached a stage of passionate display. As Trump considers himself to be in control of the world, he now has tried to banish the issue entirely. Should he care? Under a guise of innocence he blames Congress. His role has been to instill confusion in the basic unit of humanity, the primary family. So this Full Moon is about parental control and responsibility with the Sun in Cancer (the sign ruled by the Moon) and the Moon in Capricorn with Saturn (the ruler of Capricorn) conjunct the Moon. Saturn is the planet of restrictions and control. Through the arms of the government, Trump has imposed chaos on immigrant families and social programs entrusted with their care and processing. The government has taken over the role of parents for the thousands of children separated and placed in detention units over the country. This has reached the ultimate conclusion of his policies. His ability to govern the nation is in question. The very disturbing family separation policy has ended, however even more limiting rules are implemented. While forced to retract he uses pretence as a skill.
Summary of Major Aspects of the Week
Wednesday June 27th – The focus is on organization and structure (Saturn in Capricorn) with the Moon conjunct 90 deg, combining) to Saturn at the Full Moon. The reorganization of political or business administration would also be in keeping with this Full Moon and the entire present soli-lunar cycle. Thoughts for the future must be kept in mind and for the changing needs of the social structure and individuals involved. Mars in Aquarius goes retrograde today, as past action is reviewed in the light of changing structural features (Saturn). Mars will be retrograde for the next two months, while Neptune remains retrograde for 5 months. We have a chance to rethink our goals (Mars) and group involvement (Neptune). While Neptune may be slowly transforming our culture and our world, our participation can have a positive effect. The Moon is in a quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Mercury (cognitive action) early today, and ingress to Capricorn at 3:54 pm GMT (morning hours US times) to approach conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) with Saturn and opposition (180 deg, tension) to the Sun before midnight (US times) [see chart above].
Thursday June 28th – The Moon transiting Capricorn is disposed of by Saturn (the ruler of Capricorn), could then be a modifying effect on the restrictive laws and Presidential powers. As the Moon is in opposition (180 deg, tense) to Donald Trump’s natal Mercury, he may feel compelled to act, and also cause his opponents (Saturn in Capricorn) act against his decisions. The Moon is semi-sextile to Mars retrograde in Aquarius, as some are spurned to action, perhaps through group loyalty or personal sense of injured pride. The Moon then is in a sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Jupiter retro in Scorpio, as group adherence grows stronger. A semi-sextile aspect (30 deg, mild) to Neptune in Pisces could disperse anger or expand to outer reaches of the mind.
Friday June 29th – The Moon transits in Capricorn quincunx (150 deg, creative) to Venus in Leo, and forms a conjunction (0 deg, combining) to Pluto in Capricorn. Cultural management through media goes big time. The goal is to impress the masses. This could be the ultimate in manipulation. Mercury makes ingress to Leo today making a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Uranus in Taurus. Extravagance has a backlash, as divisiveness becomes a medium of its own. The Sun in Cancer is quincunx Mars retro in Aquarius, as outreach has mixed responses. Social protests dig increased with new vigor.
Saturday June 30th – The Moon in Aquarius opposes (180 deg, conflict) Mercury in Leo and is in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Uranus, to for a T-square configuration. The Moon is sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) to Chiron (wounded healer) as we reach for higher instincts and a move for universal healing. Attempts for unification are instantaneous (Uranus focal point of the T-square), and not always successfully balancing, as Uranus is symbolic of the unpredictable outcome. The Moon in the sign of Aquarius is the dispositor of Uranus, helping to achieve the higher minded goals.
Sunday July 1st – Ceres at 1 deg Virgo is trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Uranus in Taurus as initiatives for children’s welfare and rights of individuals overcome obstacles for reunifying families. The Moon in Aquarius square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Jupiter in Scorpio early in the day with efforts to overcome blocked communication, as the Moon then moves to opposition aspect (180 deg, polarizing) to Venus in Leo, obstacles could be overcome despite the polarity, the energy works together for a successful outcome.
Monday July 2nd – Mercury in Leo is now in a conjunct aspect (0 deg, combining) to Rahu (the north lunar node). The direction (Rahu) of the collective (as this is a transit chart and not a personal chart), is for improved and more advanced forms of communication (Mercury). The Moon represents the public in this respect, so the Moon in Aquarius is reaching for ideal groups of like minded people. Immigrant families form self-help groups which could become a political force in the future. The Moon makes the ingress to Pisces later in the day as collective memories form. A sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Uranus in Taurus increases a sense of universal relief.
Tuesday July 3rd – Mercury in Leo is in opposition (180 deg, tense) to Mars retrograde in Aquarius, conjunct the lunar nodes (Rahu and Ketu). This highlights the day and the week for the future of the nations, for democracy (Aquarius) and personal rights (Leo). The rights of The Child and the responsibility of the government for the wellbeing of citizens as well as universal rights of children and immigrants is the subject of discussion (Mercury), as the direction of nations is in the balance. The Moon in Pisces is in a trine aspect to the Sun in Cancer as well as trine to Jupiter in Scorpio. This grand-trine configuration in water signs expresses hope for universal acceptance and understanding. The Moon transits Neptune as suffering is shared and understood in the universal language of human empathy.
