Overview
Mars in Gemini in a trine aspect to Jupiter in Aquarius is a dominant feature to start this week. Both planets play a significant role in the week’s events and escapades. Next Monday and Tuesday, Jupiter is in a trine aspect to Pluto. Jupiter in Aquarius symbolizes the focus on a quest for social equality, energizing humanitarian concerns. The Sun ingress to Taurus on Monday, makes a stellium in Taurus. The Moon travels from Taurus to Leo and an opposition aspect to Saturn in Aquarius, square aspect to Uranus in Taurus and a T-square formation that seeks to destabilize the status quo. On Saturday, the Moon triggers Mars and those planets in aspect to Mars, a general destabilizing configuration results. Efforts to guide the transformation would modify the explosive elements to gain some beneficial outcomes, modifying traditional attitudes.
Summary of Major Aspects of the Week
Wednesday April 14th — Mars in Gemini is sextile aspect to the Sun in Aries, empowering the accomplishment of goals. The Sun is sextile aspect to Jupiter in Aquarius, empowering an aggressive and unified group approach to social problems. Venus ingress to Taurus today ahead of the Sun ingress on Monday. The Moon in Taurus is sextile aspect to Neptune and later in the day forms a square aspect to Jupiter in Aquarius followed by a trine aspect to Pluto in Capricorn. Empathy is invoked, also group actions upset the fragile calm. The Sun approaches a square aspect to Pluto as powerful forces erupt in conflict. The issues are systemic, and continue to bubble to the top. The Moon ingress to Gemini overnight, as nerves are fraying. Mercury is in a conjunction aspect to Ceres in Aries, fueling unrest among the younger generations. The Sun is also in a conjunction with the outermost body Eris (a dwarf planet beyond Pluto) adding further to the chaos of the day.
Thursday April 15th — Mercury in Aries and in a semi-sextile aspect to Neptune in Pisces, absorbs the discontent of the day, intellectually influenced, possibly enraged by the magnitude of the offences committed. Mars in Gemini is in a quincunx aspect to Pluto in Capricorn spurring demands for transformation, bolstered by a trine aspect to Jupiter in Aquarius as demands for fair treatment and equality before the law finds justification. The Sun in Aries is sextile aspect to Mars and square aspect to Pluto increasing volitivity of the day, as ingrained institutional methods are challenged. The Moon in a trine aspect to Saturn in Aquarius later in the late evening calls for restrictions and calm.

Friday April 16th — The Moon in Gemini and a conjunction aspect with Rahu early today and trine aspect to Saturn in Aquarius forces on the recognition and need for re-evaluation of standards. Mars in Gemini and in a trine aspect to Jupiter in Aquarius and a simultaneous quincunx aspect to Pluto speaks to social unity for a deep cleansing of systemic racism.
Saturday April 17th — The culminating stages of the astrological signatures that indicate a coming together of forces to implement a profound change in social attitudes begin as the Moon transits Mars in Gemini today. The Moon/Mars conjunction aspect is trine to Jupiter in Aquarius as well as in a quincunx aspect to Pluto in Capricorn and sextile aspect to Mercury/Sun conjunction in Aries. It seems a most fateful day for everyone on planet Earth — close to 7.9 billion people. The future role of policing in the US could reverberate around the world.
Sunday April 18th — The Moon in Cancer is in a sextile aspect to Uranus in Taurus and square aspect to Chiron in Aries as tensions increase, awaiting outcome of a trial, or of threats to peace and/ or personal health issues. Mars in Gemini is in a sextile aspect to Mercury and Sun in Aries, also the dispositor of the Aries stellium. Mars trine aspect to Jupiter in Aquarius and quincunx aspect to Pluto in Cap are also still in effect. The spoken word has a profound effect today, influenced by the universal unconscious gestalt as the pieces of events are coalesced, creating a fabric for the future. Mercury transcends the conjunction aspect with the Sun to ingress Taurus. Thoughts move to creating a more secure and shared social environment.
Monday April 19th — The Moon in Cancer is in a trine aspect to Neptune early today, as empathy abounds. The Sun ingress to Taurus in the afternoon hours (evening in the eastern half of the globe), for a full stellium in Taurus. The Moon is then in a quincunx aspect to Jupiter in Aquarius before moving to the opposition aspect to Pluto in Cap in the evening hours. Decisions are finalized and verdicts read. A sense of relief as more transformations get underway.
Tuesday April 20th — The Moon ingress to Leo in the early morning hours (US time zones), with square aspects to the Sun and Mercury in Taurus. By afternoon, the Moon is in square aspects to the remainder of the stellium in Taurus — Venus and Uranus, and a trine aspect to Chiron in Aries. There is a sudden shift, a challenge to each of us to reform social ills for the sake of the future generations. The Moon is in an opposition aspect to Saturn in Aquarius late in the day, as legal reforms are mandated. Earth Day 2021 dawns, with Uranus at the focal point of a T-square configuration, as the Moon opposition aspect to Saturn gives a brief opening for a revolutionary platform of conservation in caring for the planet.
