Less than a month before the Total Solar Eclipse, Venus pulls out of Saturn’s grip (opposition) for freer thought and purpose. Gemini is ruled by Mercury and thus Venus in Gemini is disposed of by Mercury. We need to think through our actions very carefully. Parental guidance may now be lacking, however life’s lessons should not be lost. Mercury enters Virgo, an earthy sign of details and watchful criticism. Analysis is helpful here. Keep an open mind, however, as a competitive race is on. Winning is not everything, it’s how the game is played. Honor is achieved if the game is played well. Jupiter in Libra promotes balance and integrity. As Pluto (in Capricorn) applies to the square aspect (90 deg) with Jupiter (doubly approaching with Pluto retro) a higher level of consciousness keeps the competition fair.
Summary of major aspects of the week:
Wednesday July 26th – The Sun conjunct Mars today is significant for increased pride and loving action. Mercury ingress to Virgo activates mental insight and also anxiety. With the Moon in Virgo opposing Neptune, however, emotions are diluted or dissolved as quickly. Virgo tends to the paranoia and Neptune sees that everywhere. Then the Moon moves to a trine aspect to Pluto, (120 deg , easy) for a chance to regenerate, or confirm all suspicions. If the force is with us, we can move on.
Thursday July 27th – With the Moon in Virgo square (90 deg aspect) to Venus, a splash of creative energy gains a following, motivating while an opposition (180 deg, harsh) of the Moon to Chiron could be an inner voice of caution. True strength does not forget the difficult lessons of the past. A simultaneous quincunx aspect to Uranus (150 deg, problematic) can spur you on for the last stretch, barring the unforeseen difficulties. The title win in competitive sports, (the Sun – Mars conj in Leo and the Jupiter square aspect to Pluto) or overcoming political adversaries as court actions resume, and personal triumph could be on hand.
Friday July 28th – The Moon in Libra is a balancing act for the final contest of testimony. Is truth out or still concealed (Jupiter square aspect to Pluto)? A change in the order of authority is underway, as the Moon transits Jupiter with a square aspect (90 deg harsh) to Pluto. Ambitions are on the rise (Mars conjunction with the Sun in Leo). With two New Moons in Leo this year, the second a total eclipse, Uranus reversing to retrograde on Aug 4th, Leo’s energy trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to the total eclipse could bring more a gradual change than sudden overnight transformation.
Saturday July 29th – While Ceres forms a sextile aspect to the Sun (60 deg, friendly) abundance that is worked for is achieved. The Moon in Libra opposed to Uranus in Aries (180 deg, difficult) could represent a backlash against unfair advantage. Thus a sudden loss could ensue. Jupiter in Libra square (90 deg harsh) aspect to Pluto in Capricorn is still 1 deg from partial, remains strong, as slowly the squeeze is on for Justice and the Congressional hearings underway. The question of outcome and consequences such as a Presidential meltdown, (possible as Trump’s natal Jupiter is conjunct to transiting Jupiter), how he deals with the outcome and forward for the administration could be a house-cleaning- a thorough vacuuming as he strives to pivot and show that he is not pro-Russia. The Moon enters Scorpio later in the day.
Sunday July 30th – As the Moon is in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Mars and the Sun in Leo, tensions give way to open conflict. Venus in Gemini is sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Uranus in Aries, so that active diplomacy may have a calming effect. Venus is also in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Chiron, perhaps a self-inflicted reprimand or remorse results. The Moon is also trine to Ceres today, a sign that increased resources for agricultural sectors and gifts for children’s benefit. The Moon continues to a trine aspect to Neptune in Pisces, for more distributive action concerning food for impoverished sectors. The third quarter (waning quarter) of the Moon is reached ( see image insert above), as crisis in dissemination prior to the lunar eclipse of the 7th of August. The Jupiter–Pluto square aspect is strong this entire week, and action of a dissolving nature may be noticeable today and the remaining week of this 3rd quarter phase of the soli-lunar cycle.
Monday July 31st – As Venus moves into the Moon Sign of Cancer today, the Moon in Scorpio is sextile to Pluto in Capricorn. Emotional depths are reached, perhaps responses of great concern and need for reform of many government programs and policies is called for. As Jupiter in Libra is disposed of by Venus, Venus in Cancer is a voice for home and security. Pressure to reform from Pluto and Saturn in Sagittarius, must conform to the demands for security.
Tuesday August 1st – The Moon enters Sagittarius as we review legal and political issues, enjoy sports activities and maybe travel to distant lands. A fresh point-of-view is desirable now. As Jupiter attempts to reach a balanced consensus, power centers are under pressure to conform. With a quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Venus and Ceres, the Moon in Sagittarius prefers detachment. A square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Mercury in Virgo increases tension or anxiety or sublimated health issues. The trine aspects (120 deg, easy) to Mars and the Sun in Leo shows there is an attraction to sporting events. Working off your cares through creative action and enjoyment with family is ideal this week.
