April 21-28 2021 — High Pressure Moments
The Moon in Leo makes a T-square with Saturn in Aquarius in the opposition aspect, and Uranus in Taurus in a square aspect to both the Moon and Saturn early on Wednesday, helping to reflect on the increase in mass shootings, other incidents of gun violence, as well as the out-of-control police killings. While the Moon acts to stabilize the sharp aspect between Saturn and Uranus, an aspect that is separating and therefore declining in influence that was strong near the last half of February, and an approaching aspect during January. The major question now is how to dismantle gun violence, gun ownership in the hands of unstable people or as a go-to response for the disgruntled in the economic crisis. The Moon in opposition to Saturn draws on the stabilizing properties of Saturn. Restrictions on gun purchases are one way this could manifest. Uranus is slowing to turn direct motion in May. A stellium in Taurus predominates with fixed signs and earth signs in the majority.
Summary of Major Aspects of the Week
Wednesday April 21st — With four planets in Taurus, a stellium, the Moon in Leo forms a quincunx aspect to Neptune in Pisces mid-day in the US, while Venus in Taurus approaches the conjunction aspect to Uranus. Very gentle, sympathetic words may heal the wounds of difficult relationships. However, more likely that radical instincts may prevail, even as we try to solve complex social problems or penetrate the minds of the mal-adjusted individuals needing intervention. Escapist tendencies may influence the outcome of the day. Environmentalists’ actions have more power to protect the quality of residential communities with the Taurus stellium. The Moon reaches the opposition aspect to Jupiter overnight, probably more influence for the eastern hemisphere — Europe and the Mid-East. An aspect of exaggeration and emotional transformation then motivates action as the sextile aspect to Mars follows. Goals that are extravagant remain elusive, as are dreams to satisfy personal aggrandizement.
Thursday April 22nd — The Moon at 29° Leo is in a close sextile aspect to Mars at 29° Gemini, before it’s ingress to Cancer. More work is needed on outstanding issues before a final decision can be reached. Venus approaches partile conjunction aspect with Uranus in Taurus in the late evening hours (US time zones), indicating that reversals are likely, and announcements made or messages received could reverse the course of powerful entities. Concerns for environmental protections may reverse the expansion of industry. The Moon in Virgo is trine aspect to the Sun in Taurus and a few hours later to Mercury, also in Taurus, signaling wins for environmental concerns.
Friday April 23rd — Venus transcends Uranus, with the power to calm the situation, as we move forward with environmental protections and equal rights for minorities. Venus approaches a square aspect to Saturn in Aquarius, challenging traditional orders, while the Moon in Virgo transits to the opposition aspect to Neptune in Pisces, as more details about settlements are emerging. Mercury, the dispositor of the Moon, transcends Uranus in Taurus, seemingly a reversal in the earth’s narrative. The earth cannot be saved if racial discrimination prevails. The issues are tied together.
Saturday April 24th — The Moon in Virgo is trine aspect to Pluto in Cap and quincunx aspect to Jupiter in Aquarius. Pluto in its role as transformer is initiated by the Moon, also drawing on the integrating powers of Jupiter. The Moon ingress to Libra makes a square aspect to Mars in Cancer, as legal battles continue. Venus now partile square aspect to Saturn in Aquarius, each in a ruling sign, as a struggle for re-evaluating standards for policing and the value of human life reaches a crescendo. The Moon in a quincunx aspect to the Sun in Taurus indicates a creative venture at the day’s end.
Sunday April 25th — The Moon in Libra in an opposition aspect to Chiron in Aries and quincunx aspect to Uranus early in the day. Unprecedented innovations are possible in the field of communications and environmental protections as Mercury is in a square aspect to Saturn in Aquarius. The Moon in Libra is trine aspect to Saturn and quincunx aspect to Mercury and Venus in Taurus. Innovative powers continue to reformat the role of authoritative figures in the public realm.
Monday April 26th — The Moon in Libra is in a square aspect to Pluto in Cap early in the day, followed by the trine aspect to Jupiter in Aquarius, for an opportunity to make fundamental changes in the social order. The Moon ingress to Scorpio by mid-day, and makes a trine aspect to Mars in Cancer, seeming to open the pathway for an in-depth analysis of aggressive controls in police methodology. The full Moon aspect arrives before midnight in the US, although morning on the 27th in Europe and the Mid-East, mid-day in Australia and the Far East. In Israel, Netanyahu many be forced from office due to his corruption indictment, as a new coalition is formed.
Tuesday April 27th — The Moon in Scorpio is square aspect to Saturn in Aquarius early today, afternoon in Europe and the Mid-East, and will be in a square aspect to Jupiter in one day’s time (24 hours). The Moon’s opposition aspects to Mercury and Venus indicate a challenge to social values as inscribed in laws. The de jure law is challenging the de facto application of law in the hands of public officials. The Moon trine aspect to Neptune allows for the expression of suffering and indignation. The Moon sextile aspect to Pluto and square aspect to Jupiter tonight or early on Wednesday, depending on location, shows increased solidarity for a cause.
