Mercury backs into the Mercury–Venus conjunction in Cancer to begin on the 24th while Saturn sextile to Neptune over the past 6-7 weeks has yielded specific items of interest relating to corruption of power. Mercury retro gains power in the cardinal sign of Cancer, bringing to light past deeds. Massive protests result in relinquishing some power to meet demands. The 3rd quarter Moon phase, following the eclipse on the 16th of July, brings a crisis in resolution of the issues exposed. The Moon transits Uranus in Taurus then on to a square aspect to Mars in Leo. Social media and in-person protests are met with force by law and order, as Mercury retro transcends Venus, releasing news reports of the corruption uncovered in the recent Venus opposition to Pluto. The submerged energy is brought to the surface, released in protest. The collective need to change government with Ketu’s conjunction to Saturn in Capricorn finds a collective cathartic release. The Moon continues through Taurus and Gemini, transiting Mercury retro in Cancer on July30-31st. New grist for the mill of the Democratic Candidates’ debates.
