This sentiment gains strength as the lunar orb makes a trine aspect (120 deg, easy)  to Pluto in Capricorn, and goes on to an opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to Jupiter in Scorpio. Mercury in Pisces sextile aspect to Saturn adds authority and power to the voice of youth. Students who have been subject to gun violence in their schools speak out. The years of youth have turned to a cause and will form their impact on social and political structure in the years to come.

Wednesday February 21^st– The earthly quality of the Moon in Taurus (earth sign) is concerned with basics. Sextile (60 deg, helpful) to Venus and Neptune, conjunct in Pisces, the Moon has the voice of the young and the power of a generation. Ceres, the protector of the young, of harvest and regeneration, in the powerful fixed sign of Leo, is quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Mercury and Saturn. Mercury in Pisces and Saturn in Capricorn are in a sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly), a Yod formation results giving youth the power to speak out. There is a growing disenchantment of the status quo, and of the world they are due to inherit. As the Moon opposes (180 deg, symbiotic) Jupiter in Scorpio late in the day, their power becomes magnified. The Moon’s transit of Uranus has the potential of modifying that abrupt nature, the violence and social unrest that is seen throughout the world.

Thursday February 22^nd – Mars in fiery Sagittarius (fire sign) counters some of the disillusionment of political power, as responses are gathered to placate the protesting youth. Moon sextile (60 deg, friendly) Chiron in Pisces, evokes the wisdom of experience.  The effectiveness of protesting is limited. However the social event as comment is made and registered. Venus is forming a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Mars, resisting the impact of the movement.  This could be a foreshadowing to social or political campaigns to come, with Jupiter in Scorpio narrowing the distance to the quincunx (150 deg, complex) to Uranus in Aries.  The outcome of this aspect formation is delayed until early November (great timing).  At that time the quincunx aspect becomes partile. Even so, the suggestion and some actual events of this week and until mid-March seem to be collated with this magnified (Jupiter) relationship to Uranus (disruptive of the status quo).

 

Friday February 23^rd – The 1^st quarter Moon overnight (see image above) may give us some thoughts on change that is appropriate. If you find the parameters of your life will not allow for personal expression and development, the key to progress lies within.  Only when having a measure of self-awareness can we utilize opportunity to advance a constructive change.  In this developing cycle, care must be taken not to fall into the negative path.  A crisis in consciousness could occur, depending on aspects to your personal natal chart planetary positions.  Seeking to improve your life and that of those you are responsible for as a way to change the parameters of the situation that you find yourself. Growth for the entire cycle aims for positive results. The Moon in Gemini is in an active, expressive mode. Mercury in Pisces is impressionable, and as the dispositor of the Moon and in a challenging square aspect (90 deg) to the Moon, the intellect is ready to follow the will of the ego center, the solar center of consciousness. As there are more challenging aspects than flowing angles, applying effort and thought to action produces best results.  

Saturday February 24^th – Mercury in Pisces moves closer to Neptune, the ruler of the sign Pisces, to gain inspiration, and of course illusions or delusions are also part of the package. The Sun also in Pisces approaches the sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) with Saturn.  Becoming aware of limitations (Saturn), the individual consciousness (the Sun) has the result of inspiration for better achievement. The Moon in Gemini forms a quincunx aspect  (150 deg, complex) to Jupiter increasing communication. There may be disruptions, as creative measures are required for the action to complete and arrive at the desired outcome.  

Sunday February 25^th – The Moon in Cancer today is trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to the Sun in Pisces (water signs).  Emotional responses, however, are limited as the Moon is in an opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to Saturn in Capricorn. The outcome of feeling overwhelmed by the evolving process is stabilized through conscious limitation. The standards imposed prove acceptable to the majority. For instance, protective measures can impose limitations, but also free us from anxiety. As a result, creativity and personal lives will improve.

Monday February 26^th – The Moon in Cancer is trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Venus in Pisces today. A more aggressive approach to security implemented over the past few days, has the result of protecting more vulnerable individuals.  There occurs an opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to Pluto – suggesting that the investigations of possible crimes committed by government officials continue.  Other indications concur, such as the close Mars square aspect to Venus in Pisces, also the Moon trine aspect to Jupiter and square aspect to Uranus suggest that profound and startling moves are made from the courts of the legal system. There could be resignations and/or prosecutions at this point.

Tuesday February 27^th – The Moon in Leo is conjunct (close to 0 deg, combining) Ceres today and quincunx the Sun in Pisces. The concern for protection of youth and schools is expressed and magnified in intensity.  Emotions run high as the controversy continues on gun rights and legal restrictions. The Moon transits Rahu (the north lunar node) today. Rahu and Ketu have just returned to a direct motion. The future of a more guarded nation with stricter gun control is in view.
