The Moon in Pisces this week makes several aspects that herald an active week that will make an important mark in the progress of affairs. Pisces, the mutable water sign, and the final of the 12 signs of the zodiac, sets the stage for a release and reset. We can expect action that brings issues to a new level. Aspects from the Moon to Venus and Mercury in Scorpio activate emotionally charged exchanges. Uranus in Taurus is also active by the sextile aspect, and in opposition to the midpoint of Venus and Mercury. The exchanges could get explosive. The Sun in Libra makes a quincunx aspect to Neptune in Pisces, the dispositor of the Moon. While Libra seeks balance, Neptune destabilizes. Fundamental disagreements prevent unity. The Moon travels on through the sign Aries and into Taurus by next Tuesday. While some issues may be settled next week, new disagreements arise as Mars makes a quincunx aspect to Uranus on Saturday, triggered by the Moon in opposition aspect to Mars. The Full Moon aspect in Aries on Sunday brings more clarity to the conflict.
Summary of Major Aspects of the Week
Wednesday October 9th – Divisions have led to a gathering of like-minded individuals into working coalitions. Issues become coalesced into working papers- statements of aim or focus, as the Moon moves into Pisces with a trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Venus in Scorpio, and, a few hours later, to Mercury in Scorpio, as goals become solidified into a process. The Moon sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Uranus later in the day, awakens some coordination with more radical elements. Chiron in an opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to Mars, tempers actions with directed assurances.
Thursday October 10th – The Moon in Pisces and Mars in Libra is quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Uranus in Taurus as awakening elements of transformation find a complex road ahead. The Moon transits Neptune with a quincunx to the Sun in Libra, as a power balance is upset. With Chiron in a quincunx aspect to Venus in Scorpio, the dispositor of the Sun and Mars in Libra, (as well as of Uranus in Taurus), experimental actions produce anxiety, and a search for meaning. The Moon in a sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) to Saturn in Capricorn early in the day, restrictions reassessed, only to be eliminated later in the day. Stability is questioned. The Moon’s square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Ceres and Jupiter in the afternoon hours, relates to the provocation of dissent especially from young people. The Moon sextile aspect to Pluto could accepts authority.
Friday October 11th – Dissident groups protest a re-alignment of power with Venus in Scorpio forms a quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to Chiron in Aries. Mars in a quincunx aspect to Uranus indicates that militant actions could be taken, as safeguards are removed. The Moon enters Aries overnight US time zones, a conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) with Chiron awakens possible counter-actions as the opposition aspect (180 deg, tension) to Mars follows, and a quincunx aspect to Venus in Scorpio arouses protests to the conflict. Venus opposition to Uranus could be an indication of efforts to transform the situation.
Saturday October 12th – The Moon in Aries opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to Mars in Libra increases pressure to act, although Venus in an opposition aspect to Uranus could deter violence by drawing out the energy of the Taurus position of Uranus to more attractive goals. Venus, the ruler of Taurus and Libra, forms a distraction, drawing out the energy, perhaps to encourage a higher-level response.

Sunday October 13th – The Full Moon (see chart above)aspect in the afternoon (US time zones), with the Moon trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Jupiter in Sag, works for a modification as a solution. Pluto at the apex point of a T–square with the Sun opposition aspect (180 deg, tense) to the Moon, is the moment of truth. The power could ignite battle or maintain peace. Mars and Venus are semi-sextile, as are Jupiter and Pluto. Fate seems to have a role here, although there seems to be a more unified approach. The Jupiter actions are strong, meaning the judiciary, social media and public opinion could push for reversals, while Pluto has the vantage point for balance, there is a strong Jupiter influence. Public opinion may win out in the end.
Monday October 14th – The Moon ingress to Taurus meets with Uranus retro as reversals may be implemented. With Venus in the opposing sign of Scorpio, and reproductive rights may face reversals. Jupiter and the Sun are in a sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) with the Sun that is in a square aspect (90 seg, harsh) to Pluto. The courts decisions are likely to form policy for the next several years. Mercury in Scorpio applying to the trine aspect (120 deg, easy) with Neptune in Pisces could be the dissemination of information related to immigrants, and policy imposed. The Moon in a quincunx aspect to Mars indicates a backlash against aggressive decisions. Mercury sextile aspect to Saturn in Cap aligns with organized groups. Disinformation or the coercion of groups under control is indicated as well.
Tuesday October 15th – Venus in aspect to the Moon would be favorable, even in the hard aspects, like the opposition. Today this aspect occurs with the Moon in Taurus and Venus in Scorpio. This could be an indication of gifts given, but most likely with some responsibility involved, as the opposition is a give and take situation. Aggressive Mars, assertive in Libra, would prefer a balanced situation. The quincunx aspect (150 deg, trying) from Mars to the Moon as the Moon transits Uranus, could in fact be complex as well, demanding benefits for any compensation allowed. The Moon formsa trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Saturn a few hours later, gives a sense of satisfaction for accomplishments. The Moon trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Pluto and quincunx to Jupiter late in the day in the western hemisphere or early morning in the eastern, includes a sense of unity and cultural belonging.
