This week, with Mercury in Sagittarius conjunct to Saturn, recommendations, decisions and possibly publications of interest to national and international affairs are highlighted. Authority figures are likely to make their opinions known. It could be court or high-court decisions impacting the legal and political scene, as the Venus–Pluto conjunction occurs soon after. Jupiter in Libra is approaching the opposition to Uranus in Aries. Forces are gathering this week in support of expanding equality versus limiting erratic or revolutionary force, with Jupiter trine aspect (120 deg) to Mars and Uranus trine aspect to Saturn. Aggressive force on either side excludes a peaceful solution. The US is but a mirror of the rest of the world.
Wednesday November 23rd– With the Moon in Virgo, entering Libra later today, uncertainty as well as analysis consume the hours. There is some cooperation between partners as the Moon in Libra is sextile (60 deg favorable) aspect to the Sun in Sagittarius. We can look at the up-side of a political change in the nation or world, and work on setting goals for the future. The time to get organized is the present, as Venus and Pluto converge in Capricorn. With Jupiter in a square (90 deg harsh) aspect to the pair, the efforts are enhanced and possibly successful in setting agendas. A lack of balance (Jupiter and Moon in Libra) in power centers (Venus and Pluto in Capricorn) is most concerning to the cause of humanitarian justice that we seek.
Summary of major aspects of the week:
Thursday November 24th – As the Moon is in Libra today, awareness of inequality in the social community, and in legal and political life increases. With the Moon trine to Mars in Aquarius, social gatherings are compatible, sharing with those of like minds. There could be a change in how we perceive our friends and some are “open enemies” as arguments could be provoked. The square (harsh 90) aspect from Jupiter to Pluto could create a larger sense of inclusiveness, as well as enforced exclusion. Two extremes may be possible under this aspect however Venus conjunct Pluto will modify the outcome. Friendly relations are maintained with some gracious input to the quarrel.
Friday November 25th – The Moon is sextile to Saturn and Mercury in Sagittarius, the 60 deg sextile aspect is favorable to adaptation and working with a knotty problem for resolution in order to avoid conflicts. Political stance (Saturn in Sag) can be adjusted to the current reality (Moon in Libra). This could allow for more inclusiveness in the policies that are developed as a result. Jupiter is also approaching the sextile with Saturn, as debates and discussions lead to more liberal definitions of existing statutes. Ceres is also in a trine aspect to Saturn from Aries, promoting greater protection for the individual in political policy. More attention can be given now to developing a social umbrella (Ceres) for the disadvantaged and for the uninsured in the population (Neptune in Pisces).
Saturday November 26th – Mercury in Sagittarius is trine to Uranus today, as more unconventional ideas are expressed in a political atmosphere. Adventurism and risk taking are means for advancement. With Jupiter in conflict (square 90 deg harsh) aspect with Pluto and Mercury in Capricorn, social disapproval combats the more radical elements in political power. The Moon in Scorpio can build resentment and anger over the political figures on stage. With the Moon moving to a trine aspect (120 deg) with Neptune in Pisces, emotional responses (water signs) are deep and all pervasive. Power yet remains in the hands of a few (Saturn in Sag dispositor of Pluto and Venus).
Sunday November 27th – The Moon in Scorpio with a harsh square aspect to Mars in Aquarius could invoke revolutionary fervor. Attempts to depose rulers are possible now. Jupiter square to Pluto and Venus in Capricorn suggest a popular uprising. Venus (justice) in Capricorn (authority) is approaching a square (90 deg harsh) aspect to Uranus (revolutionary road). Conflicts in word or emotional distrust are provoked. Efforts should be made (Sun in Sag) to adapt arguments (Mars square to Moon) to the democratic process (Mars trine Jupiter sextile to Saturn) in the political arena (Sagittarius).
Monday November 28th – The Moon in Scorpio moves to complete the lunar cycle, with a New Moon early on Tuesday at 7 deg Sagittarius. The New Moon (Sun and Moon conj in Sagittarius) approaches a square (90 deg harsh) aspect to Neptune in Pisces (universal suffering), as humanitarian needs are unmet. Hopefully, new efforts are made to assist the civilians in Aleppo under conditions of conflict. Moves for political isolation put more innocent victims of violence around the world at risk. A failure of UN efforts to quell conflict and violence is obvious to all.
Tuesday November 29th – The New Moon in a square aspect to Neptune in Pisces should symbolize efforts to combat illusion and false publications, which give rise to fake news on the Internet, as well as addressing the suffering of victims of war and violence. If the outside world cannot settle a conflict, then assisting the civilians should be a compelling mission. Increased efforts worldwide could at least salvage to some extent the historical reputation of the powerful and rich nations. Tracing distortions to the source of a political conflict could also work to start a renewed humanitarian relief effort (Venus in Capricorn square aspect to Uranus in Aries and sextile aspect to Chiron in Pisces).
