The Moon joins the stellium in Capricorn this week, as health issues become widespread as the result of the pandemic. Neptune in Pisces represents the emerging infectious diseases that the WHO has warned of in 2007 report as having increased at an alarming rate. Neptune ingress to Pisces was in May 2011. Since the SARS and Ebola epidemics, greater awareness about the devastating consequences has developed among professionals, if not the general population. Last week Mars made a sextile aspect to Neptune as the epidemic became officially a pandemic, and now with the lunar transit, the number of people ill with the Covid-19 disease increases. Efforts to contain the spread of the disease are either successful or a complete failure, as the virus continues to consume communities and nations. The crisis and the response to the crisis, a battle of time and resources, reaches a crescendo. In the process, governments manage and limit our life activities, gaining more power over the individual in a situation of dystopia. Hopefully, this phase of power and exploitation of free will recedes in time. Resources for evaluating and controlling such an outbreak were developed with the SARS transmission, as awareness of the global effect of the epidemics were realized.
