On that date, regarding the political process of transition in US government administration, the electoral votes were cast, certifying the states election results. The Congressional certification today, with the official counting of the votes, a procedural step to the Inauguration, faces conflict and potentially violent street demonstrations. The Libra Moon, indicating fairness of process, is in a quincunx aspect to Neptune in Pisces, as attempts to delay the announcement of the vote counting (Moon in Libra) with street demonstrations and massive protests (Neptune in Pisces) are threatened. The Sun in Capricorn, the official process takes place to certify the vote count. Mars ingress to Taurus occurs later in the day, as peace is restored.
Thursday January 7th — The Moon ingress to Scorpio early today in opposition aspect to Mars in Taurus, then forms a square aspect to Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius, as a T-square configuration develops in 3 signs of fixed modality. As the Inauguration of the US administration takes place at the Sun’s ingress to Aquarius, it is significant that the balance point of the T-square is at 0° Aquarius. There is scant chance of an upset at this point, as the revolutionaries (Uranus retro in Taurus) are held in check, their fire-arms confiscated and radical elements detained. The Sun in Capricorn and approaching a sextile aspect to Neptune in Pisces, as the dissolution of the old administration is in process. By afternoon, the Moon is in an opposition aspect to Uranus retro, after the quincunx aspect to Chiron, revealing the operation of the dissident elements. Jupiter in a sextile aspect to Chiron, seeks wisdom and the rule of law to restore peace.

An orderly government will succeed in a smooth process. While the virus is surging worldwide (Neptune in Pisces), the antidote (vaccination) seems to be at hand. Venus ingress to Capricorn denotes respect for the order of careful administration. Mercury is at the degree of the Inauguration (0°Aquarius) as official announcement of electoral votes is made.

The Moon in Sagittarius is sextile aspect to Mercury, while Venus is semi–sextile to both the Moon and to Mercury. The courts (Moon in Sagittarius), implementing legal decisions and policy of the historical legal decisions is not bound by policy of a political administration, and is crucial in restoring a peaceful settlement of disputes. Mercury moves to a conjunction aspect to Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius, as the world moves on to a more egalitarian government. The US Constitution remains as the basis of the government administration.
Sunday January 10th — Mars in Taurus approaches a square aspect to Saturn in Aquarius and a trine aspect to Venus in Capricorn, with Venus semi-sextile to Saturn. The Moon in Sagittarius transits Ketu and makes a square aspect to Neptune in Pisces. A resurgence of protest, while past policies are being shredded (Moon conj Ketu) by legislature and court decisions. While seemingly revolutionary concepts were promoted they did not advance the cultural vision.
Monday January 11th — The Mars in Taurus square aspect to Saturn in Aquarius continues in effect as the Moon in Capricorn is in a conjunction aspect to Venus and trine aspect to Mars. Venus in Cap signifies the implementation of law with the issuing of citations. Order in implementation is moderated in a peaceful manner. The Moon in a square aspect to Chiron followed by a trine aspect to Uranus retro in Taurus while Mercury is in a conjunction aspect to Jupiter in Aquarius. Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn are disposed of by Uranus, as the revolution is forestalled, internalized as transformation results.

Venus is trine aspect to Uranus retro in Taurus, and all other planets are contained within this trine, as the implementation of democratic rule is assured.
