Overview

The New Moon on Sunday at 26 deg 43’ in the sign of Gemini is square aspect to Neptune in Pisces. We are on the way to transforming the way we communicate. With Mercury the ruler of Gemini also in this mutable -air sign, sextile aspect to Venus in Leo at the New Moon, we could feel playful, as we search for the desired avenue of expression. We could be creative in this new cycle, as we search for a kernel of truth. Saturn is stationary turning retro on Sunday, less than two hours after the partile New Moon. This is a pivotal week in the annals of history, with the indictments concerning actions of the former president. By the end of August, six planets will have made a retrograde turn, leading deeper into a reassessment and possible reorientation of our relationship to eternity. With a counteroffensive underway, Ukraine gradually reverses the tides of war. The legal process in the US will turn the perception of the nation’s path. The Moon ingress to Gemini on Thursday night US time zones (1:47 UT). The Sun makes the ingress to Cancer at the Summer Solstice on the 21^st (14:59 UT).

Summary of major aspects of the week

Wednesday June 14^th — The Moon in Taurus makes square aspects, first to Venus in Leo in the early morning (US time), then to Mars in Leo in the afternoon, as awareness shifts from personal values to acquisition. Markets are stimulated as well as people. Ceres in Virgo is separating from the opposition aspect to Neptune in Pisces, as some attachments dissolve, and some employees migrate to better working conditions. Jupiter in Taurus is in a sextile aspect to Saturn in Pisces while Venus is in a separating quincunx aspect to stationary Saturn.  Preparing the land for a garden is an ideal activity now, plan to plant at the New Moon on Sunday. Saturn’s influence grows as its transit now appears to be in reverse motion, magnified by Jupiter and with some tease from Venus, we prefer to leave behind processes that are destructive or non-operational.

Thursday June 15^th — The overnight transit of the Moon in Taurus to the conjunction aspect with Uranus, Uranus posited at 21^st degree of Taurus, happens in the afternoon hours for Europe and the Mideast, as a rapid shift takes place in strategic position. There may be revelations that realign the basis of future negotiations in the UK and Israel. The Moon, with a sextile aspect to Neptune and quincunx aspect to Ceres, could indicate a change that undermines proposals for relief programs and finally a trine aspect to Pluto in Capricorn as economic leverage is reformed. The Moon ingress to Gemini for greater mobility.

Friday June 16^th — The Moon in Gemini suggests wanting to experience companionship, maybe with siblings or neighbors. The Moon is in a conjunction aspect with Mercury, the ruler of the sign, encouraging the urge to relate, and a sextile aspect to Venus in Leo provides the opportunity. Joining a block party or neighborhood gathering, watching a movie that really speaks to you, or even reading a favorite author might satisfy this urge. The Moon makes a square aspect to Saturn in Pisces, as preferences are noted, pruning what no longer works for you.

Saturday June 17^th — The Moon makes a sextile aspect to Mars in Leo in the early morning hours (US time zones) allowing us to work creatively, or even express our romantic ideas. The Moon is then sextile aspect to Chiron in Aries for a mature assessment. The Gemini Sun in a square aspect to Neptune in Pisces could work to strengthen or disperse illusory thoughts. Putting it all together, it could be a productive working day for artistic expression and creative writing. The New Moon in Gemini late in the night (US time zones) opens opportunities for a career advancement. The soli-lunar cycle of dis-belief is exposing illusory ideas as well as inspiring ideals so that transformation begins.

Sunday June 18^th — The complex New Moon phase in Gemini extends to today with the Moon quincunx Pluto retro in Capricorn, and ingress to Cancer. The Sun square aspect to Neptune in Pisces, dispels illusion and inspires action. The Moon quincunx aspect to Pluto retro spurs action for transformation. Saturn in Pisces turns retrograde sextile aspect to Jupiter in Taurus. As Jupiter expands in stable Taurus, dissembling Neptune turns away. Financial crime exposed could be one reading here. The Moon in Cancer and a trine aspect to Neptune indicates increased interest, such as a fascination with reform efforts, sextile aspect to Jupiter.

Monday June 19^th — The Moon in its home sign of Cancer makes semi-sextile aspects to both Mercury in Gemini and Venus in Leo (conjunction aspect to the midpoint) extending the sextile aspect of Mercury to Venus, and in turn, educational programs are inspired. Ceres in Virgo is trine aspect to Pluto retro in Cap. Analysis (Virgo) encourages reorganization on an institutional level (Capricorn). Mars in Leo approaches the trine aspect to Chiron in Aries, invigorating Chiron, as the Moon makes a square aspect to Chiron. Doubts arise even as progress begins to make fundamental change. The Moon sextile aspect to Jupiter in Taurus late in the day, encourages financial reform.

Tuesday June 20^th — A sextile aspect from the Moon in Cancer to Uranus in Taurus overnight, morning hours in Europe and Middle east, indicates progress in protecting the homeland. The Moon trine aspect to Neptune in Pisces mid-morning hours in the US, a flowing water sign aspect, with a tendency for emotional outpouring. Confessions, nostalgia, and psychological distortions could coincide with this aspect. The stars impel, they don’t compel is an axiom from astrological lore. You may feel inspired to greater heights or feel emotionally overwhelmed. The Moon in an opposition aspect to Pluto retro in Capricorn and sextile aspect to Ceres in Virgo indicates that reforms must relate to the viability of future generations. Jupiter in Taurus in a sextile aspect to Neptune could raise the level of the emotional release, adding care and practicality. Jupiter represents the ability to integrate the revelations into a codified form, applying the lessons learned.
