A New Moon in Aquarius on the 4th of February follows the stellium in Capricorn and the eclipse of January 21st. Law enforcement has its starring moments, as Saturn sextile aspect to Neptune increases in strength as it draws closer to partile on Feb 1st. Although the influence if this aspect weakens after the 1st, it remains effective until the middle of February. Saturn in Capricorn enforces the law, while Neptune in Pisces is a dispersing energy. Neptune encourages all manner of circumventing legal issues as Neptune is a trans-Saturnian planet. It is amoral. It is the energy that invades and evades the confines of any structure. While Neptune can also be highly attuned to the spiritual matters, it defies limitations. It often teaches morality through the consequences of denial with the end result suffering leading to a renewal.
Summary of Major Aspects of the Week
Wednesday January 30th – Mercury is conjunct the Sun (0 deg combining) today, in Aquarius, with the Moon in a sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) from Sagittarius. This seems like good news! Higher levels of education and health are possible to achieve now. There can be advances in career, as opportunities open. We are encouraged to take on difficult tasks with Saturn sextile (60 deg, friendly) to Neptune.
Thursday January 31st – The Moon transits Jupiter in Sagittarius early in the day, as optimism is increased. The Moon in a trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Mars in Aries. You should find more coherence today, as your reach for more ambitious goals. Then the Moon transits Venus for pleasure – the reward for the hardships and pain that you have suffered, as you achieve a goal. Pleasure and pain become inseparable as Saturn is partile (exact degree of aspect) to the sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) with Neptune. With great relief, we feel we have accomplished something worthwhile.
Friday February 1st– The Moon in Capricorn today, for more focused time. Mars in Aries forms a square aspect (90 deg, challenging) to Pluto in Cap. Organization is vital to success. Plan your strategies carefully to overcome possible derailments. The transit of the Moon conjunct (0 deg aspect, combining) to Saturn later in the day requires all authorizations to be in order. If your status is under make sure your paperwork is in order to avoid setbacks. You may have an increase in workloads and/or responsibilities. The Moon in a sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) to Neptune. It’s recent conjunction aspect to Saturn extends the Saturn sextile to Neptune. More careful analysis of status and legitimacy may be required at this time. As Venus approaches a square aspect, also challenging, as accepting new lessons may be difficult.
Saturday February 2nd – Venus is in a trine (120 deg, flowing) aspect to Uranus helping us to relate to situations that are difficult or unusual. Taking a philosophical approach to radical changes helps to smooth the path forward, as the Moon transits Pluto later in the day, binging unexpected reversals. The aspect of Mars square to Pluto (90 deg, challenging) continues for radical approaches challenge government official status. Revolutionary actions erupt worldwide.
Sunday February 3rd – The Moon in Aquarius is in a sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) to Ceres in Sagittarius early today, as young people participate in group causes, forming idealistic political platforms. Venus ingress to Capricorn later in the day, brings clarity to these ideals. As Saturn transcends the square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Neptune, the release of reports concerning investigations (Russia interference, for example) espionage or cybercrimes could be published now.

Monday February 4th – The New Moon is late in the day at 15 deg Aquarius at the midpoint to the Saturn–Neptune square aspect (90 deg, challenging) that has been forming over the past weeks. This is remarkable and significant as the publication of earthshaking reports are likely to be made today. Conclusions may be drawn, and a new cycle begins of a power shift and legitimacy of current administrations are in doubt. In the chart for Washington, DC, the New Moon occurs in the 7th House of the open adversary. The current administration, bound by the legal system (Saturn in Capricorn) and involvement in activities that subvert the rule of law, is in a very difficult situation (in more than one country worldwide).
Tuesday February 5th – The publication of damaging reports undermines the power of elected leaders (Saturn in Capricorn). Public opinion is vital to the survival of the elected rulers in a democracy. Meanwhile, autocratic republics survive. The renewal of power is a result of the democratic process that regenerates (Pluto) through an organized election process. The Sun in Aquarius is sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Jupiter in Sag and semi–sextile to Pluto in Capricorn, as public opinion is measured. The Moon moves into Pisces as a universal response seems inevitable. The need to clean house of corrupt politicians looms large.
