A Celebrated Stellium – July 1-8 2020

Saturn returns to Capricorn at the start of the week, digging up more power in the cardinal earth sign of its domain, yet in retrograde as we are dealing with historical injustices, removing historical icons, and renaming our buildings and institutions. We cannot erase the past, but we can put a new foot forward, and open a new chapter. A necessary move for the New Age Awareness. The Sun supersedes Mercury retro in Cancer, as the Moon travels from Scorpio to Aquarius this week, with a renewed stellium in Capricorn, transiting the problematic JupiterPluto conjunction as well as Saturn in Capricorn. Jupiter expands Pluto’s forceful urge for a profound reassessment that rejects the past with a vision for the future. The past injustices lay heavy on the generations.  It is a time for reinvention of the national creed, the national image and to embrace the ideals.  The full Moon eclipse on July 5th helps to enable us to perceive an awakening and a reinvention of our collective will.

Summary of Major Aspects of the Week

Wednesday July 1stSaturn puts on its blinders in returning to its domicile, as we become focused on stability and continuity. Scientific knowledge of the Covid-19 disease accumulates with shared experience. Awakening to social stagnation necessitates removal of decayed matter, so that we don’t let the past stand in the way of the future. The Sun in Cancer supersedes Mercury retro today, and in a sextile aspect (60 deg, helpful) to Uranus in Taurus, as more enlightened views are expressed. Chiron, the asteroid, is in a square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to the Sun and Mercury retro, as a warning of possible tragic outcomes. The Moon in Scorpio is in a trine aspect (120 deg, easy) to Neptune in Pisces in the afternoon or evening hours, depending on location, allowing for expanded emotions, and in a sextile aspect to Jupiter and Pluto in Cap, overnight, and sextile aspect to Saturn by early Thursday morning. Actions taken could be a result of illusions or distortions, inspired by dreams of heroism.

Thursday July 2nd – The Moon transits into Sagittarius early today, and makes a sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to Saturn retro in Aquarius, as Saturn transits into Capricorn, a strengthening of Saturn indicates a will to succeed in institutional reform. The Moon is then in a trine aspect (120 deg, flowing) to Mars in Aries, as we witness a political will that is self-righteous and aggressive in nature.  In the morning hours (EDT), the Moon is in opposition aspect (180 deg, polarized) to Venus in Gemini, with challenges that are friendly, although with consequences, as both Uranus and Mercury retro a quincunx aspect (150 deg, complex) to the Moon (a Yod formation) while sextile aspect (60 deg, friendly) to one another. The Moon is in a quincunx aspect to the Sun in Cancer by the end of the day as uncertainty clouds the night.

Friday July 3rd – The Moon in Sagittarius transits to the square aspect (90 deg, harsh) to Neptune in Pisces. Challenges to conspiracies and illusions awaken a wider interest. Political intrigues come to light. Obsessions that increased over the past month begin to subside as Jupiter moves past the conjunction aspect (0 deg, combining) with Pluto. Now is the time to learn and to repair the broken system, the broken ideals and work to improve the environment for future generations.
